Stayed for two nights when all other places in Funabashi were booked out. Quite a pleasant surprise we usually stay at the City Hotel when in Funabashi. The rooms were small but very clean and comfortable the staff friendly and close enough to Funabashi JR rail station. Few treats left in the room normally you get shower caps toothbrushes body...

Okay, first things first... if you don't have business in or near Funabashi, then this will not likely be the place for you. Sure, with Japan's infrastructure you can be in central Tokyo relatively easily, but this is a business hotel in a commuter town which has little of interest for tourists. And those visiting Disney Land or Disney Sea...

The staff at this hotel are great- they were patient with us despite our being foreigner and not always speaking the best Japanese. The hotel was a great solution, having appointments both in the Makuhari-messe area and near Tokyo station. It also provides good access to Narita airport, although it is a small adventure to find the hotel from Funabashi...
