My mate and I stayed here for 6 nights in Feb 2016. What a location! Right next to the lift which is perfect for getting up the hill early for freshies! A 5 min walk and you have too many restaurants to choose from! Satomi who is the host is a legend. She was super helpful with helping us read...

This was our 3rd stay at the Alp and again it did not disappoint. Absolute ski in/ski out and easy access to the rest of the village. Decor is a bit tired and dated but the Japanese rooms are lovely and spacious. Good breakfast selection and the complimentary dinner that we received with our booking was excellent. Inside and outside...

We stayed at the Alp for one week in February. It is a simple hotel with a great onsen. Satomi was a wonderful host - she took time to familiarise us with the ski areas, transport, restaurants and facilities. Nothing was too much trouble.

This was our second visit to the Alp, last time we had a Japanese room, this time we had a couple of Western rooms. The Japanese rooms are certainly much larger. We had a very enjoyable stay, the hotel itself is a lodge style, it is nothing too flash but everything you need, comfortable and clean. It is truly ski...

Stayed at the Alp in Feb for 6 nights. The hotel is in the perfect location, it's awesome to step out the door and strap on the snowboard and ride to the lifts and at the end of the day ride literally right to the door step. Everywhere in the town is also only a 5 minute walk away. I...

It was amazing the care we had at Alp Hotel Resort. Anything we needed they provide, from food, ski station information, sightseeing, how to go to other cities for a Day visit, train options and schedules. We had a top class treatment and are very satisfied. We stayed in Myoko for 10 days, visited 4 ski stations, Matsumoto city and...

Alp is probably the only true ski in and ski out hotel at Akakura Onsen. This has advantages and disadvantages in that when you go out to eat at night it means a trek up the hill and through the snow to get home. Satomi is a wonderful hostess and could not be more helpful and she is the best...

Hotel Alp, Myoko Japan. The Hotel itself is ageing. The rooms were on the smaller side but the location is great. This was the first time I had stayed at a joint where I could snowboard to my front door! The Hotel is an older styled building but it is well kept. The facilities were average but the outdoor onsen...

Fantastic location, with genuine ski in ski out and only about 100m to lots of restaurants shops and the post office with ATM (only one in town for foreign cards) Lift tickets are cash only so keep track of your cash and keep in mind the ATM is not open 24/7. Opening times are on the post office door. Hotel...

This was our second stay at the Alp and we found it as enjoyable as the first. We had a Japanese room this time - much better than the western as you seriously have twice the room. We had no complaints about any of the services or facilities - breakfast was plentiful and varied during our 8 night stay and...
