Despite mixed feedback on room comfort, the cleanliness of the hotel consistently earns praise, with many guests impressed by the spotless accommodations and diligent housekeeping. Back from a enjoyable 3 night stay in the premier inn, easy to find and well placed for all amenities. Upon arrival we were given a room with a faulty heater, spoke to the wonderful Darci at reception who allocated us to a different room. We used the Beefeater next door for meals ,which where excellent, all the staff in the premier and the Dovcote next door were very friendly and efficient. Would love to return there next time stopping in Glasgow

Friendly accommodating and welcoming. Clean would highly recommend and stay there again. The staff I feel went above and beyond in kindness warmth and for example helping with bags and kept checking in that they were ok. This was all staff cleaning staff reception and in the beefeater for breakfast don’t usually review but well deserved

Its as you expect from a premier inn, Darci met us at reception, she was very helpful and friendly. She had great local knowledge. The room was clean and comfortable, There are 3 accessable rooms apparently, we did not require this on this occassion, our room was down stairs so if you have mobilty issues rememeber and ask for a room on reception level.

The hotel & Beefeater staff were superb. The saving grace of this trip. My room (203) unfortunately had enormous cobwebs in the left of the room, crumbs on the floor, a weird gunk on the sink's side, and hairs on the tiles that i spotted only when I stepped in to shower. By this point I had unpacked and wiped all surfaces and buttons down with my own disinfectant wipes: I did not want to move rooms. Bear in mind that there are Covid compliance/ high cleanliness signs throughout the hotel. At this time, this lack of attention to detail was particularly unprofessional and shame for a hotel chain that is a go-to for many business travelers.
The strange heating panel onthe wall clicks; take the battery out for sanity. The flimsy bathroom towel rail was broken. The absent aircon is replaced by a decent standa lone fan but i had to put this on to drown the outside noise out.
Outside my room was a drive through BurgerKinf; 23:30 pm bin and road cleaning was LOUD.

Hello, Thank you for reviewing your recent stay with us. We’re sorry that you had problems during your stay with cleanliness and maintenance of your room, as well as external noise. We’ve ensured this feedback has been logged to the Hotel Management team so that they can look into these issues with the team to prevent this experience from being repeated again in the future. In future, our Reception team are on hand 24/7 and so we would advise speaking with the team as soon as any issues arise to help resolve this whilst you're still in-house. Again, our sincere apologies and thank you for taking the time to share your review. We hope that we can look forward to welcoming you back to one of our hotels again soon for a more enjoyable stay. Kind regards, Lauren

We visited for the past 5 days for a family wedding. The whole of the team at both the hotel and the adjacent beefeater pub could not go to too much trouble to ensure our stay was first glass. As an owner of pubs/Restaraunts myself, I know very well the challenges that each day brings, particularly given what the hospitality has endured in recent times. This team are an absolute credit to Whitbread. I would employ each and every one of them in a heartbeat. Well done all of you for making us so welcome and having a good laugh with us each and every day. You deserve a massive pay on the back. I do hope that the Directors of your company read this as they should be phoning you to congratulate the lot of you for outstanding customer service. And this will say everything that needs to be heard - I never did figure out who the Manager is, as in my eyes, you are all on a par. Thank you so much again. We will certainly be staying here again.

The Inn was extremely convenient for my journey. Suzanne in reception was excellent getting my bags to the room and ensuring that I was sorted. As a disabled traveller these things are so important. The food at the Beefeater located next door was very good and the staff there extremely obliging and professional. My only slight issue. There were two low single beds and I’ve always had a much higher bed in other accessible Premier Inns and there was a wet room rather than a walk in shower.

We booked the Premier Inn as we were coming from Glasgow for a birthday party and the hotel cost was the same as taxis would have been. We were really impressed with the comfort of the room, and the lack of noise given that the hotel is next to a pretty busy part of the town centre. The staff were all fantastic, and the breakfast option is certainly worth it - everything is cooked to order and the drinks and breads/cereal/fruit selection were great. The free wifi is a little slow but you can upgrade to high speed for a small charge. The bathroom was bright and clean and the shower was good. There are tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen tv and a very good lighted mirror for hair and makeup with plug points. Overall we had a great stay for an excellent price and would return.

Our room was very clean, spacious and had a bath, shower, hairdryer and kettle essentials - everything we appreciate for an overnight stop. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful as were the breakfast staff, Sharon. The selection at breakfast was fantastic, full cooked, toasts, pastries, many cereals, good quality yoghurts, fruits and juices plus an unlimited selection of coffees and teas. We thanked the chef, Gerald, for our delicious cooked breakfast not only because it was tasty but it was not swimming in any grease as so many cooked breakfasts can be. The Meal Deal offer for the evening meal meant we could have a two course meal with drink very reasonably. If all Premier Inns/Beefeaters are as good as this we will be using them on all our travels.

We are just back from a 2 night stay at the Premier Inn Cumbernauld and to be quite truthful, I can’t wait to go back.
Upon arrival my daughter was given a Happy Birthday Card and some crème eggs, a very special touch to a little lady who was celebrating her 6th birthday the day we arrived. The hotel was sold to her at that point!
We enjoyed our first night before travelling the next day to the nearby Blair Drummond Safari Park as well as the Sea Life Aquarium. This hotel is central to many tourist attractions. We had breakfast before leaving as well which really set us up for the day - it was lovely, great selection and great food.
The second morning I popped out to Asda which is adjacent to the hotel and very handy for any forgotten items e.g my hairspray! My husband rang whilst I was there to tell me that a member of staff had been to our door as there had been a complaint from the room below our family room. Apparently they had been kept up all night with noise from our room. I patiently await reading the review from these guests as there is simply no chance they were kept up all night, we were sound asleep by 9.30pm and didn’t get up until 7am the next morning. The reason I note this is because I genuinely hope the people below us read this review - what they heard was my 3 year old autistic son stimming, he likes to walk back and forward in a straight line on repeat but I continually stopped him because I was conscious of anyone who may have been staying below us. Also, he’s 2 stone.. I would doubt the noise he would make would have kept anyone awake.
Anyway, I hope they read this and know that life with an Autistic child is hard, both for him and for us and it took a lot of strength and courage for us to take him away for a few days for fear of upsetting everything that makes sense for him. I cried all morning, I cried to the poor member of staff who had came to our door and to Donna who looked after us in the Restaurant. The fact these guests told lies about being kept up all night disgusts me. BUT the main thing here is that the staff at the Premier Inn listened and understood. Thank you for helping make our tainted stay so very special for us all. Exceptional staff. I couldn’t recommended it anymore if I tried. As for those other guests…. Be kind to different minds and don’t tell fictional tales.

We stayed here to break up our long journey to the Highlands, this is our first time staying in a Premier Inn and we was impressed. Our room had everything we needed it was clean and well presented and the bed was comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly and everything was achieved in a covid safe environment. We would recommend this hotel and would also recommend adding the meal deal as the breakfast and evening meal was lovely at the beefeater next door.
