Everything about Rancho de los Esteros is perfect! From the get go, Maita and Julio where the perfect hosts, providing great input and help with our travel plans from BA, a warm welcome on arrival (despite the early hour) and wonderful Argentine hospitality throughout our 3 night stay despite the language barriers. We were made to feel completely at home,...

On our second trip to Argentina (this time with my parents and 4 year old daughter) we were looking for someplace different to visit. Ibera was appealing to us because we love wildlife and our travel agent Isabel recommended it. It is definitely off the beaten path and takes a little time and energy to get there (we took the...

We had planned on traveling up to the Iguazu Falls, but at the last minute decided to spend our time in the Ibera wetlands instead. Maita, Julio, Gorge, and Emanuel made our stay an outstanding experience, and we are so glad that we made our spontaneous change in plans. The room was exactly what we hoped for and so very...

From the moment we were greeted by Maita, Julio and their wonderful cook, we knew we were in for a treat. The whole area is absolutely stunning and the home into which we were welcomed was like paradise. After being taken to our gorgeous room, we were provided with a sumptuous tea, with delicious home made jams and cakes. So...

The Rancho experience in the wetlands was fantastic from beginning to end. The journey into the wetlands became exciting when we started to see some of the wildlife on the way. Maita and Julio were there to greet us on arrival and were the perfect hosts throughout our stay as were the staff and guides. The Rancho is a peaceful...

From the hosts to the cook, the guide and everybody else we had the most amazing attention. The rooms were great, the food excellent, The road from Mercedes to Colonia Carlos Pellegrini is not easy but was worth the effort. The excursions were very interesting. Enjoyed every minute of it! We stayed, slightly out of season, in late April 2014 and had the place to ourselves (I think there are only 4 rooms so I suspect it never feels crowded) and had a wonderful time. It was everything we expected from the reviews we had read and more. The location and gardens are beautiful, the room was large and it...

We chose to go to El Rancho mainly because of the great reviews in Trip Advisor. I have to say, the place, the hosts, and the service are even better than we had imagined. There are only 4 rooms. The one we stayed is more like a house than a room, really big. The meals are fantastic. The environment is...

We stayed for three nights at Rancho de Los Esteros and it was amazing, we would have loved to stay longer and look forward to return one day. The hosts gave us a warm welcome, and were friendly, involved and helpful throughout our stay. The room was large, comfortable and romantic. The food (breakfast, lunch, teatime, and diner), made by...

We travelled in a group of eight (including 4 children) and none of us wanted to leave. We had quadruple rooms which were very spacious and nicely designed. Beautiful grounds and living room, nice pool, delicious food, serene atmosphere. The hosts were very warm and inviting. We stayed for two nights and did 2 boat excursions, a guided night walk...
