We stayed in this ryokan our first night in Miyajima. It was centrally located and easy to find. The hosts were very nice and friendly, although they did not speak very much English. The room was small, but sufficient enough for two people. The real delight however was the food, which was traditional and delicious. We had around 12 dishes... More

The location of this guest house is great - really close to the ferry port (5 minute walk at most) and easy to find. It's also near to basically all the main attractions on Miyajima so if you're planning to go hiking and/or see the shrines and temples, you can get ahead of the crowds by staying here and won't... We had a nice stay here, staff was super friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable, conveniently located (5 minute walk from ferry port). Only negative point is the breakfast. We paid 1000 yen per person, all we got was a spoon of yoghurt with a strawberry and a small scrambled egg with a piece of bread. This didn't fill our... More

We stayed for one night - decent sized room, clean. We felt it was quite expensive compared to other places we stayed in Japan. Nice to be provided with yukata (dressing gown type thing) to wear around the ryokan. Excellent dinner in their dining room - lots of different courses beautifully presented (although not much explanation of what everything was).... More

Its a small charming guesthouse just a few minutes walk from the port. My room was simple and had all the modern amenities that i needed. My stay was a relaxing time for me. Since everything i nearby, it does not make much effort to explore the island. The hotel owners were very kind and accommodating. I will definitely recommend... More

The guesthouse is 5 min walk from the pier, good for visitors who carry that luggage to the island for an overnight stay. I stayed in Rm 201, a Japanese style room facing the street. There were only a few bikes or cars passing, so it was calm. The room was clean, particularly the washroom; At the night I stayed,... More

Simple nice and clean ryokan. The accomodation has nothing special but the traditional japanese 9 courses dinner justify the 5 stars. All courses were excellent. Good location. Free wifi no onsen in the hotel

A small pension set back a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal. Look for the tunnel in front and to the right of the terminal exit. Excellent Japanese multi course dinner including grilled local oysters. Breakfast was western style. Both included in price. We opted for a western style room after sleeping on one too many futons previously. We... More
