We enjoyed everything about this ryokan. The very friendly and kind owner, the amazing dinner, our nice room with toilet, the private bath downstairs and the very convenient location. A great experience.

A very nice, ryokan style hotel on a quiet street near to the main tourist attractions.
Friendly, helpful staff make the hotel have a homely feel. Tasty breakfast and a nice environment made it a convenient, pleasant stay.

Also, the baths are lockable versus the more common public onsen / baths if that is a concern. They may place a simple/honor system sign up sheet to help people coordinate as well if asked/there is a large group.
