Stayed at a one bedroom unit, cachet crossing, good size, clean and modern, included all that’s required for your stay such as dish soap, dish tabs and toiletries.

Purchased the activity passes, which you need for beach access (new this year), ridge runner and tree top trekking, kids enjoyed the low ropes. Booking was limited, so make your reservation as soon as you arrive at the front desk as the on-line feature didn’t offer the same availability.

Really liked the text concierge feature this year as a response to covid and minimizing contact, as they were prompt and helpful with information and requests when texted ( I.e additional towels).

Can’t say enough about staff, professional and super helpful. Very attentive to any concerns we had and offered prompt resolution. Thank you Glen for your assistance, you helped make our stay both memorable and enjoyable ! We are yearly visitors as BM offers good value, varied outdoor amenities and activities, and above all, great staff and excellent customer service.

Stayed here for a weekend when in the area for a family wedding. The staff was great, very friendly and efficient; check in was fast and easy. The hotel itself is a bit dated and tired looking; but clean and quiet. I could hear dogs barking in the hallway, but didn’t hear any outside noise in the room. Our view looked out onto a parking lot, and a weird metal walkway & stairs. This might have made me feel unsafe if I was alone, anyone could walk up and have access to the patio doors on this floor, but we were in the country and all was quiet outside. The room itself was nice, a little small but ok, no complaints about cleanliness; could use some TLC though, the ceiling was stained and the sliding bathroom door screeched loudly. Bathroom was tiny, but served our purpose. Beds seemed very small for two adults. It was adequate, but if I returned to Blue Mountain I would spend a bit more money and stay right in the village, which is a 7 minute walk down the street.

Dear Cheryl G, Thank you for taking the time to post a review following your recent visit to Blue Mountain Resorts and the Blue Mountain Inn. The Inn is one of the original buildings at our resort and has undergone many upgrades and expansions over the years. We are currently in the planning stages of yet another refurbishment to this hotel property and look forward to the new look and feel. The Inn is pet friendly with a small fenced in area outside to enjoy some off leash exercise. The Village is just a short distance away and offers rooms with kitchenettes and larger units with full kitchens, we have a great variety of lodging options and look forward to your next visit.

I would say it was a good stay. Check-in and check-out was easy.
Pros - Lots of hot tubs, microwave on the main floor, walkable to the Village,
two eating locations, one with a pub, on-site.
Cons - small bathroom, AC/heating system very loud, the hot tubs were not that hot, sauna at sister location was not hot either - I do expect these amenities to work well. Having a sauna that doesn't get hot is frustrating, also no change room made it an awkward endeavor.

My friend and I stay at the blue mountain village every year for a girls weekend just to relax and getaway. We’ve stayed at the inn before and found that it met our needs, this time however it was horrible and I will not be staying here again.

The biggest issue with our stay was the paper thin walls. I could hear word for word what the people next door were saying. Seeing as we stayed during the COVID-19 pandemic and the hotel is at reduced capacity I’m not sure why they would put us in a room next to a large young group. I’m pretty easy going when it comes to hotels and noise levels etc.. but this was unacceptable. We went to bed with around 11pm (bars and restos close then and not much else to do) and could hear the people next door to us talking loudly, I let it go because it was as only 11pm and managed to fall sleep anyways. Come 2am I was woken up by loud shouting, talking and laughing inside the two rooms next door and out on the balcony. I called down to the front desk right away, they did NOTHING. The noise continued until 5am, it was clearly a large party. The people staying on the other side of us were pounding on our walls thinking the noise was coming from us. I’m so disappointed that the hotel staff did nothing and let them keep us awake all night long. We go to blue mountains to relax, go to the spa, getaway and have a break, we left feeling exhausted and not relaxed at all. I let the front desk know about this issue upon our check out and the manager offered me 10 then 20% off my next stay. I found the likely $30 off offer insulting considering what we paid for the night.

Beyond this issue the rooms are dated and so are the facilities. We had massages at spa inside the inn (Koala spa) since Scandinave was fully booked. The room where my massage took place was embarrassing! It had a shower and a bath tub in the room with junk piled sky high in the tub, and while I was getting my massage the lights were flickering on and off, not worth the $180 I spent. We were able to book the pools at Scandinave which made the trip worth it- thankfully!

I’ve stayed at many hotels in the village and have never had issues like this before. I will never stay at the INN again and would suggest you look elsewhere. Terrible customer service and I don’t want to know everything about my neighbours.

Dear ATorontoK, Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback and post a review of your latest experience while visiting us at the Blue Mountain Inn at Blue Mountain Resort. We regret to see that you were dissatisfied with your stay and found the walls rather thin, allowing noise/voices to transfer, this is naturally not the experience we strive to deliver and regret to see that our Security team was unsuccessful at cautioning these unruly guests. Typically, when a guest calls about noise, Security is dispatched immediately to the offending room and sincerely regret the oversight on this occasion. We will share your commentary with the leadership team within our front office to ensure associates are informed of their role when addressing guest issues. The Kalola spa is located in the Blue Mountain Inn and is independently owned and operated, we will ensure your comments reach the owners of this facility. We are pleased to see that you were able to access the Scandinave baths, this is indeed a very relaxing experience. it is during peak ski season and around Xmas, so the room rate for two tiny beds costs close to 300 per night. we booked this hotel due to it's the cheapest in the area. however, the front desk service and housekeeping are unreasonable poor.

we arrived late due to a flight delay arriving in Toronto and driving three hours. we found out the room is so tiny with one small night table in between, one chair, no luggage rack, and a tiny closet with 4 hangers. we ended up leaving all my belongings and luggages on the floor including ski equipment. the bathroom is tiny you can not turn your back around. why do you list a two beds room that only can fit one person? we also pre-paid two days' lift tickets. so we asked if we could have a late checkout on the second day but got a no, not even an hour late like checking out at noon.

the alarm clock on the only night table woke all of us at 6 am!!! did I mention the insulation between the rooms is so poor that you can hear your neighbors talking and using the bathrooms?

during the first day's stay, no housekeeping service, and only a few Starbucks paper cups for having your own tea or coffee or brushing your teeth. after we expressed huge disappointment, the night guest service agent Neil offered us 10% off our room charges. the next day when we checked out, we were surprised to find 10% only applied to one night. after explaining what was happening and the morning agent reading all the notes, she called for the manager to correct the charge. we waited for half an hour the manager never showed up but left a note saying no . we were very disappointed by the way they treated guests who traveled all the way from the US to ski here, paid close to $700, and left with such a terrible experience. does the hotel care about the extra $25 credit to the guests? do you give us credit on arriving at 9 pm instead of 4 pm? it shows they do not care how you feel. stay away from this run down poor service hotel, we come to the blue mountain every season and stayed elsewhere, and always happy to come back. it is the worst we had experienced. the manager of the guest service is Vanessa Walters. who never showed up but refuse to honor us with 10% off a two-night stay.

Please don't go there you can have more options to stay in the area or 10 minutes away in Collingwood.

The Blue Mountain inn is nestled in the Blue Mountain ski resort area. In fact, you can go from the back entrance directly to the slopes. Although it’s not next to the village like the Grand Central and Westin, it is just a 2 minute shuttle ride. And these shuttle buses come every 5 minutes. I never waited for it to show up more than that on numerous occasions. Also, the hot tubs are more private than the one ( yes multiple at this resort) at GC. Taylor at the front desk was a doll. Such a hard worker and super friendly!! I’m the guy with the hot chocolate and pretzel! Rooms were newly furnished and everything in working order. Oh! The resort was quiet unlike the GC which my daughter was staying at. She could hear music from the village blasting in her room until 2 am. But not us. No noise!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL! A few of the outstanding problems are the amount of pool time. 1 hour of pool time per room is a ridiculously low amount of time for people who are only interested in the pool. Next, is the lack of seating in the already tiny rooms. Having to sit on the beds is bad for my mental health. More private seating is needed. Then, we have the bathroom. This is an awful bathroom. The toilet flushes so loudly that it gives me a small heart attack . And the bathroom door wouldn't lock! Another thing that is beyond annoying is the paper thin walls. Because of the pet friendly hotel and a certain dog with severe separation anxiety, I now have a burning hatred and a ringing in my ear because said dog was barking for 4 hours straight. A small but significant complaint about the vending machine is that they layer the kit kats in front of the Twix, when I really wanted Twix. The stairs are quite scary, they are very trippy and shoes and pet paws get stuck in the hole of the stairs. Very unsafe for my little peppers. Finally, the service the day staff is quite unfriendly but they are just trying to abdicate for a terrible hotel. The night staff on the other hand wonderful people, they broke up a 10 for me.

Dear Iwritegoodreviews, Thank you for taking the time to post a review following your recent visit to the Blue Mountain Inn at Blue Mountain Resort. We value our guest feedback and the unique opportunities that can arise and allow us to improve on our products and service delivery. We regret to learn of your displeasure with our pool booking system, this was introduced in response to COVID quite some time ago now, and for the most part our guests appreciate the system and how it mitigates crowding, we're sorry to see you don't share this sentiment. The Inn rooms are basic hotel rooms, we have a plethora of options in the Village and our resort homes that would offer plenty of seating, including kitchens and dining rooms. We regret to hear that you experienced a concern with the bathroom in your suite and trust you reported this to our associates allowing them to provide the necessary assistance and ensure your comfort. This property is pet friendly and our pet guests are informed, prior to and on arrival, that they are not to leave a pet alone in the room. Should we receive a complaint we will contact the guest and have them attend to their pet immediately. We are saddened to see that you are experiencing unfortunate symptoms as a result of these events, and trust you reported this prior to the 4 hour window noted in your feedback. The vending machines are commissioned through a 3rd party vendor and we regret to see that you experienced this frustration securing your preferred product, and will provide your commentary to the vendor on your behalf. It's unclear what stairs you are referencing, perhaps the second floor outdoor stairs which are designed for safety outdoors. Finally, our associates typically garner very favorable feedback and we regret your displeasure with their services during the day and yet appreciate your kind comments toward our evening staff, we will be sure to share this feedback with our leadership teams for coaching purposes. Not worth it, book somewhere else in the village. The room was tiny and the washroom was the size of a closet. Not to mention the walls are so thin. We could literally hear the people next door flushing the toilet. The fridge in our room did not work, and the carpets were still dirty. The vending machine charged me $10 for a water when it was supposed to be 4.50$ which is still way over priced. The only plus side was the front desk was helpful and polite. They also allow dogs in there which kept us up until 11 because the dog wouldn’t stop barking. Better off to pay a little extra and be right in the village.

Bruce at front reception made our girls weekend/teachers conference so special! From the day my mum, sister and I arrived, Bruce went above and beyond. Bruce was kind, personable and made us feel welcome and comfortable at the hotel! He remembered all three of our names and would greet us each time he saw us in the lobby or outside. He also provided us with fabulous suggestions on restaurants in the area, as well as where to find the best milkshake in town.

The hotel room was clean, but pretty standard. Tv didn’t work well and the room looked dated. However, It is hard to complain about anything when the customer service is so great.

Breakfast staff at the restaurant were wonderful and did a fabulous job! Accommodated my celiac disease and made sure all items were gluten free.

Great stay and we will be back again - thank you!
