Our second year staying at Weider Lodge. We unknowingly booked our family vacation during Reading week, which had a significant impact on the noise levels and number of other guests during the week. Our room overlooked the Lodge hot tub and soundproofing was horrible - fortunately the hot tub closed at 11 (but if you have young kids with earlier...

We stayed here over Easter 2016 in a 2 bedroom, it was absolutely wonderful! All you need to bring is yourselves, your gear and your groceries that it! Very clean, up to date and comfortable. In the heart of the village you are close to everything! Great place to stay :)

Stayed in a two-bedroom suite in August 2016. Reminded me a lot of a mini-Whistler. Really enjoyed our suite, little shops, restaurants, activities and ride to the top of the hill. For about a two-hour drive north of Toronto, it is a must SEE. I loved the Weider Lodge and next time will stay here again.

Dear nstraveller2, We really appreciate your kind comments and in particular the reference to Whistler, very flattering indeed. The Village offers a terrific range of options, both dining and retail, and of course activities. We’re thrilled to hear that you will return and specifically to Weider Lodge, we look forward to your return. Yours in Hospitality, On behalf of Blue...

We could not have asked for a more convenient room location for our family ski trip! We had 1st floor, slopeside in Wieder Lodge which is very close to the Silver Bullet chairlift, Ski Rental, Ski lessons, ski valet, hot tub and several Village restaurants. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fireplace in the main lobby, the staff was friendly...

Dear vegas04, Thank you for sharing your experience on Trip Advisor following your visit to Blue Mountain Resort and the Weider Lodge. It sounds like you had a perfect room location with convenient access to everything that is required to make a ski trip seamless. The Studio suites are the smallest of the Village rooms available, a larger unit would...

My family stayed in a one bedroom suite with pull out sofa for two nights and loved every minute. It was minus 12 when we were there so it was really great to have such a close place to get warmed up every few hours. The front door isn50 meters from the chairlift and the same to the ski rentals....

Stayed on the 3rd floor facing the ski hills--just beautiful! My husband and I were moved to this location after staying at the very loud and not so great Grand Georgia our first night at Blue Mountain. It was by far a better location. It was much quieter with a wonderful view and a cleaner room! Bed was cozy, kitchenette...

Dear MVStoMVV, This is great, one stay, two posts and this one is even better than the other one of your Grand Georgian stay. We understand how the location in the Grand Georgian, directly in front of an entry door from the Village exposed you to noisy patrons late at night. The location in Weider was definitely better suited to...

Blue Mountain had great skiing several nice dining establishments. Lodging was very nice. We had a full kitchen, two bedrooms one with a king bed and the other with twin beds. Our condo was mountain side so we were able to see the skiers during the day and it was beautiful at night because they have night skiing. Totally enjoyed...

We love Blue Mountain resort. Our favourite location is Weider Lodge - ski in/ski out. Even though it's busy during the holidays and weekends, it's a great place to be. Lots to see and do, or just relax around the resort. The rooms are well-appointed and well-maintained. It's like home away from home for us.

Dear CrownRidgeBB, That is such a true catch phrase, it’s exactly like “home away from home”, the Weider Lodge is located right at the base of the slopes and has front door access to the Village square. The rooms are beautifully designed with ample room, depending on the size of room selected you will also have a convenient kitchenette or...

We rented a one-bedroom suite overlooking the ski slopes for a 2-night holiday celebration. It met every expectation and we encountered none of the problems outlined in earlier reviews. It was truely exceptional. Check-in was easy & convenient at the Georgian entrance. Very polite staff and we arranged lift tickets & ski gear rental at this time and it saved...

Dear americanjim, We really enjoyed your review, and particularly your closing remark, it prompted an immediate chuckle, some lighting is just terrible for that and we all know it’s the lighting. Your review will be very helpful to prospective guests, viewing this site for reference points and to make qualified decisions on where to spend their very valuable vacation time....
