The Village it's self is well done, well thought out. Great mix of shops and places to eat, and lots to do. The hotel is only average. The room was nicely appointed with small kitchen. It was generally clean. Large dust bunny's under the bed, rolled up paper in the corner. Then there was the bed. With no room service during your stay, my wife made the bed and that's when we noticed the sheets don't fit the bed...how is that possible? There was no luggage rack...where do you put your suitcase? There is a pool, hot tub, private beach, and no where to dry a wet swimsuit. The hotel is missing alot of details for the price paid. Plus the Village seems to be tacking a page from Niagara with a 1% tax added at a few spots. I will recommend and likely will return. We just expected a little more.

Hotel's Favourite
We were at Grand Georgian building for a dance competition my daughter had the Victoria Day long weekend. The village was busy and so was the hotel but the front desk attendants were very helpful and fast making sure not to create long wait lines. Kudos to everyone but specially to the blonde girl with short hair in glasses, Kathleen, Keyla for assuring that all the needs were met on time. They were helpful with suggestions on what to do around the village. We forgot a book behind and after we came back, they arranged it super quick to receive it and during this time they apologized (even it wasn’t their fault) and opened the lounge room for us to wait. The housekeeping service was very nice also. Since COVID and everything, you have to request their service and they come and assist you. The pool opened that weekend and it was busy with mostly kids, it required a reservation for a time slot. Always a pleasure to be at Blue Mountain at every season of the year. Can’t wait to come back

Dear Bela-Toronto, Thank you so much, what a lovely review, we really appreciate your very kind comments, particularly in reference to our associates at the Front Desk, they make us very proud. We will be sure to share your comments with the leadership team at the Front Desk to ensure proper recognition of their services. It's so nice to be welcoming our dance groups back to the resort, it's been a while and we enjoy the energy that these groups bring to the resort. The pool reservation system will remain in place with longer time slots and increased capacity but this system will help alleviate over crowding and provide greater enjoyment for our guests. We are delighted to see that you will be returning and look forward to welcoming you back. In Hospitality, On behalf of Blue Mountain Resorts LP James Henry Vice President of Hospitality

We spent two nights August 6 & 7 at the Grand Georgian and were disappointed. We have been coming to the Village since inception in 2002 but never have we experienced rudeness from employees like this time. We were 10 family members with 3 rooms. One of our rooms was on the first floor next to the washroom and the lobby, noisy and consistent closing of doors. We were already to go to the pool (4 of us) but were told it was at capacity (30 people) when we counted 23. One of the hot tubs was empty but were were told we couldnt go in it since it was all "part of it". After complaining at the front desk they called another lifeguard in. Doesnt it make sense that when it is close to capacity another lifeguard is automatically brought in. One of my grandsons had inadvertently put on a wristband for the rides from the day before and was told to "take it off and give it to her". The receipt was for the proper day but the wristband was wrong. She would have no part of it, she would not give it back to present to the front desk to sort it out with the receipt. Finally she said "i'll give it back but you have to throw it out in front of me". What is this?? Also the village should not allow too many day visitors since it takes away from the enjoyment of the paying guests!! Needless to say after having stayed at the village at least a dozen times in the last 20 years, it will be a long time before we head back.

Dear 57woodbridge, Thank you for taking the time to post a review on Trip Advisor, following your recent visit to Blue Mountain Resorts and the Village suites. We regret to see that your stay fell short of your expectations and in great part due to an unfortunate encounter with a single individual, who by all accounts, does not represent our service standards and culture. We would welcome the opportunity to explore this event in greater detail, unfortunately we would require more information, including date and time of day you attended these facilities, allowing us to properly identify the individual in question and provide coaching. We have capacity limits to ensure our guest safety and understand this is not ideal on a hot day, additionally, life guards are not in abundant supply. Once again, thank you for this very helpful feedback and the opportunity to provide some clarity to your concerns. Yours in Hospitality, On behalf of Blue Mountain Resorts LP Kristoff Porebski Director of Lodging

Badly in need of update - Seasons at Blue. Worn cupboards, stained couch. For the price, we will probably stay at the Westin next time. Small pool was nice, no one there in the morning. Balcony with a view of the village, only 2 chairs, no table.

We haven’t visited this resort yet, but Melissa, who helped us book our reservations, was extremely helpful and very accommodating. Great customer service. We had a large group, and it was a bit tricky, making it work for everyone, but she found a way to make everyone happy.

Insane loud rave music pumping all night long. I told the lady at check in that I was traveling with a 2 and 4 year old and needed quiet. Even without kids the loud music gave me anxiety and I couldn’t sleep. This type of loud noise isn't allowed anywhere past 11pm, why is it allowed at a hotel where people are tired and trying to relax. It ruined the whole experience!! The rooms were big and nice and close to the slopes and village but the noise coming from the village clubs is unacceptable!!

Dear 558beachlover, Thank you for taking the time to post a review of your recent visit to Weider Lodge at Blue Mountain Resorts. We value our guest insights and sincerely regret the impact that the lively nightlife had on your families overall enjoyment. The bars are cautioned to lower volume after 11pm and can understand your frustration with the one in earshot not complying with the bylaw. On report of noise we are happy to dispatch our security personnel to the offending location to provide a warning and trust that you were able to connect with our associates to provide your concerns. Additionally, we might recommend a request for a view facing away from the Village to mitigate any noise transfer from these facilities. Yours in Hospitality, On behalf of Blue Mountain Resorts LP James Henry Vice President of Hospitality

Dear CANADIANOntario, Thank you for taking the time to post a review of your recent visit to the Grand Georgian at Blue Mountain Resort, we sincerely appreciate our guest feedback. We're sorry to see that you found your accommodations dated, this property enjoyed a refurbishment quite recently and for the most part our guests are quite pleased with the results. The Weider Lodge also enjoyed a refurbishment recently, perhaps you could give this property a try next time. How very kind of you to offer a shout out to our amazing team, we will be sure to share your sentiments in recognition of the great service they provide. Some of the balconies were identified as needing some repairs and unfortunately this is fine weather work, we understand your disappointment. Weider Lodge was superb! We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite because of my daughters birthday and it was wonderful. The suite was immaculate. No weird smells. It had all of the kitchen accommodations we needed. You could tell every item was spotless. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. House Keeping was also friendly and accommodating. Considering that people are coming in and out with snowy boots all of the time, the lodge itself was prestine! The hot tub area was clean. Would definitely go back.

My husband and I recently booked a stay at The Village Suites in the Seasons at Blue building, and unfortunately it did not live up to our expectations. I’ll start however with the main pros for this property which is definitely the location. It is directly in the village, with extremely easy access to the slopes as well as shops and restaurants. The small kitchen is well appointed with all the necessary basics which was great. The cons we experienced, first upon arrival we were told that our one-bedroom suite was not ready despite it being within the check in window. We were travelling with our seven month old son, so arriving to not have a room was a stress we did not need. That said, a room was found relatively quickly but was not appointed with the crib we had requested. Thankfully we had brought a travel pack and play as we had not felt confident with the response from staff having called earlier in the week to confirm availability. The room itself was very dated. The couch was covered in visible stains and honestly made you question the cleanliness of the rest of the space. The bedding was of poor quality and sounded like you were sleeping in tarps any time you made a move. The room also got quite hot during the night, but turning on the cooling unit as indicated by the signage in the room wasn’t an option as the unit itself was so loud no one could sleep while it was on. Lastly, the parking situation was a nightmare. In the end we payed an additional $20 per day to park underground as the outdoor lots were like the Wild West. Having had a view of the lot from our room, we watched many parking lot disputes, cars blocked in, stuck, or zero availability. We’ve stayed in several properties at Blue in past and will visit again, but we definitely will not stay at this particular property again.

Dear AliCar3, Thank you for this very helpful review, we regret to hear that your experience fell short of your expectations, this is not the quality of experience we strive to deliver. We are pleased to see that the location and ease of access to dining, retail and activities was pleasing. We regret to hear that your room was not ready on arrival and can assure you that our cleaning associates work tirelessly to achieve their daily goals and deliver a timely arrival for all guests and they will be disappointed to learn of your displeasure. We will be sure to share this feedback with our housekeeping leaders to be used in ongoing coaching sessions and to improve productivity. Parking can reach capacity during peak travel days and we understand your frustration with sourcing convenient above ground parking. Our climate controlled underground parking garages are a convenient alternative for our overnight guests. We stayed in the village suite this past weekend. Two large bedrooms with queen sized beds, kitchenette and two bathrooms. The suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was ample bedding, pillows and bathroom amenities. The digital concierge, a new concept for us was very helpful! Simply text ALTO what you need and voila! Very pleased the kitchenette had everything you’d need to prepare a meal after a day right in the heart of blue mountain. We had an excellent view of all the amazing Christmas lights and village shops. The outdoor hot tubs were an awesome bonus after a long day and are open year round. We also enjoyed the sauna. The hostess was friendly, service was prompt and simple. Underground access only parking was provided for an additional $20 per day. The only concern, was the master bedroom window was located near the docking space were trucks would unload food and linens beginning at 0400 hours each morning and that did disrupt our sleep during our stay. Otherwise, the rooms were up to date, comfortable for our family of four. We will stay here again in the future.
