I've been renting a cottage at Tyrolean every summer/winter for the past 3 years because it is hands down the best place to rent a cottage with friends. With a different variety of chalets to choose from, they can accommidate parties of different sizes and tastes. I would definitely go back. The only negative thing I have to say about...

Myself and 9 other lovely ladies had a fantastic time in June, 2012. We rented the 6 bedroom chalet with outdoor hot tub, indoor sauna. The space was perfect for our group. It was very spacious, lots of room for everyone, the kitchen was fully loaded with supplies. Our only thought was to maybe add a small bar fridge of...

Last month I organized a family reunion and booked two 9 bedroom chalets at Tyrolean. The chalets were clean, well equipped and the size of the chalets was just what we needed for our 30+ people. Everybody had a great time, we really enjoyed the large deck and we made good use of the BBQ every night. The chalets are...

I recently stayed at Tyrolean Village Resorts, becareful because I looked at a few places in Tyrolean Village and many of them are privately owned and dont have access to their private beach, volley ball or soccer fields. We had a 6 bdrm/hot tub for 14 of us, perfect space big deck for bbqing and ping pong in the basement...

My fiancee and I just rented a cottage at Tyrolean, a midweek 3 day rental in a cottage to ourselves for under $400 (amazing). Ok, so I booked here because I googled a pet friendly resort in collingwood and they came up. We were planning this trip very spontaneously so I just booked it without doing any research. Then I...

I went to tyrolean village just this past civic holiday, and it happened to be one of my worst cottaging experiences ever. I went with a group of my friends (15), and it was hardly adequate especially when its costing us 3, 500 dollars for the weekend. Their was one fridge, which broke down the first night and when the...

The customer rented the 9 bdrm. Executive style chalet which is around 4,500 sq ft in size, has 4 washrooms, 3 living rooms, outdoor hot tub and ping pong table. The price is based on approx. $65 per person per night, one of the best values you will ever find at Blue Mountain. The customer was upset with his vacation...

We rented a cottage here with some friends for a weekend. Great price but we probably should have checked it out in person before renting. Large place but very run down. Outside looked like it was falling apart. Inside carpets were soiled and dirty - definitely wouldn't walk around in bare feet or even sit on the carpet. Only 2...

This is a very unusual review for our resort. All of our chalets are regularily renovated with new carpets, paint, etc. We have a very high customer satisfaction rate and this review is not indicative of the customers that stay with us. We have charged some groups lately related to damages and I beleive this review relates to them getting...

I had a bachelor party at Tyrolean Village and rented one of their chalets. Tyrolean Village breached their contract to charge me several hundred dollars out of my security deposit. They made profit on this charge. When I questioned this fine and asked why they were making so much profit I was insulted on multiple occasions by one of their...

This group rented our 9 bedroom executive chalet with an outdoor hot tub. Upon check out we asked them how they enjoyed their stay and they informed us that they had an excellent time. The next day though our cleaning staff went to clean the chalet and discovered that somebody in the group had taken the fire extinguisher and discharged...

Well. How do we start. On the first night in the Chalet we saw 2 mice. We trapped them, walked them into the woods and released them. The next night it was like the "mouse dam" wall collapsed and 10+ mice were running around the chalet. We trapped as many as possible under pots and pans and called Tyrolean Village...

As the Owner of the resort I feel I must respond to these outrageous claims by this customer. On the second night of the rental the customer called me at 1:30 am in the morning and told me that he had an emergency in the chalet, that there were 20 mice running around and demanded that I come immediately to...

I was warned by 2 different coworkers when I booked that Tyrolean would put extra charges on my credit card after I left, so they seem to have a reputation for this. I took precautions and took photos of the entire place when I arrived and and again just before we left. The place was in exactly the same state....
