We visited the Normanhurst Hotel for dinner and was pleasantly surprised, very tasty good value for money. Following our meal we retired to the bar where we received excellent bar service by a lovely girl called Emma who was very helpful and friendly. will definately return.

We booked the last night of our recent UK trip at the Normanhurst Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bar was next to a lovely solarium and the staff was wonderful. The dinner very good in a nice sitting and the breakfast was equally nice. The grounds are beautiful and the room was very comfortable. We hope to return...

After a nightmare situation we found ourselves in, the staff at the hotel treated us with compassion and went out of their way to ensure our unexpected stay was as pleasant as possible. The hotel was beautiful and we would love to stay again once our family member is fit and well.

I was invited to a friend's birthday party near the hotel, the family who were hosting the party always send their overspill to the hotel, so it came recommended. I arrived into Altrincham station, the very kindly platform manager arranged a cab for me. The exterior of the hotel is a beautiful nineteenth century mansion with an extension, in which...

We're away in hotels a couple of times a month, & generally go for one of the big chains. This is an individual privately owned place, & all the better for it. Firstly, it's a beautiful building, with elegant period decor & lovely gardens. Secondly, staff are brilliant, & really understand the value of personal service. Every one of them...

Well located in South Manchester near Sale. Well furnished rooms and an excellent breakfast. Have to warn the standard rooms are cramped and a superior room would be preferable. A lovely garden behind the hotel and personalised care are plus.

This property consists of an older main building an a newer annex. There is a very attractive garden with access from the bar/lounge area. I had a room in the newer portion. It was quite small, although comfortable. Breakfast was very good, with cooked food prepared on request. Access to Manchester is easy by way of the Metro Light Rail...

Stayed here for a night with the wife and the dog. Garden is outstanding, food is good and the staff are very friendly. Rooms are fine and it is situated in a nice area of Manchester. Why stay in the centre of the city in a tower block when you can stay here and have a little peace and quiet.
