We really enjoyed our stay. A wonderful atmospheric building, with an interesting basement bar. We liked that the bedrooms were not too hot. There was a nice selection of complimentary items in the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had not booked breakfast, but the staff were happy to cater for us at the last minute. My partner and I popped in last night for a bite to eat, what a lovely hotel a very warm welcome and seating in the beautiful dining room. Plenty to choose from on the menu the stand out was the Tiramisu made from scratch and the best I have ever tasted. Will be back soon to try a Sunday roast.

We had a family meal for a special occasion, there were 18 of us there. We had pre-booked & had given our food orders in 4 days before the meal. With this level of notice we expected that the hotel would be prepared to cater for us but what a disappointment. There were only two waitresses, one of whom appeared... More
