We stayed for three nights whilst visiting family. Plenty of parking space. The en suite room we had was very clean and a good size with tea and coffee making facilities, free wifi, a bottle of water, biscuits and mints, flat screen TV. Breakfast is excellent as are the evening meals. The staff are extremely helpful.

This was a thoroughly positive experience in a friendly, family-run establishment. My room was clean and welcoming, with a small but immaculate bathroom. The breakfast, served in a wood-panelled restaurant, was excellent, as was the service. In fact all the staff I came across were pleasant and helpful. On the morning of my departure I was shown the underground bar,...

We didn't stay at the hotel but we stopped for food, this was at 7 pm on a Sat night the waitresses were very busy but they managed to find us a table so long as we chose from the menu quickly so we could eat before the group who had reserved arrived. This was above the call of duty...

This was a good last minute decision for us, much...much better than one of those "no face" airport hotels we didn't eat but the food looked delicious, the welcome was warm & lively in the bar which was as full of regulars as strangers but everybody was made to feel at home, would use this place again in a heartbeat...

Having stayed in many other hotels around this area over the last few years I’m disappointed I didn’t try the Eskdale sooner. The place is full of character and the owners take great care to make sure everything is as it should be. My main concern was road noise but I needn’t have worried -slept like a log in a...

I stayed in the Eskdale lodge on business last night. I chose it solely for the location in Sale and that it's near to the metrolink (a brisk walk to Brooklands) as I had to go to central Manchester the following day. As I stay away on business and hence the company pays, I'm used to spending considerably more so...
