Great staff, and lovely food (pub style,no pretense freshly cooked large serving and very tasty) room was fine. clean and fresh although the pillows weren't the best. it was also a bit of a struggle to find the light switch when I first went into the room (room 7) the first switch you find is for the en-suite

We booked a twin room here for one night as we were visiting Old Trafford and we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are located above the pub / restaurant area. We were given room 4 and we found this to be clean, comfortable and well equipped. The only complaint would be the shower which would only do boiling hot...

We've met friends here several times recently and will keep going back. Every dish has been great! It's proper home cooked food. The curry of the day has been very popular with all of us. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and a lovely waitress

I have stayed at this hotel countless times, and will continue to do so. The rooms are all clean, warm and well furnished, with a decent ensuite. The breakfast options are good, and it is good quality and cooked to order. A good range of evening meals are on offer too, again freshly prepared. There is also car parking.

The location isn't the most convenient, although we did walk into Sale for dinner (approximately 10 minutes away). Our room (room 2) seemed to be located directly over the kitchen as we heard pots and pans clanking around until around 10PM. The bathroom was recently updated and was nice, although the bed was not comfortable and we could feel the...

I stayed at this hotel for one night when I first arrived in Manchester. The rooms are clean and an excellent size. The people who run the hotel are friendly and helpful. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from a tram stop from which it's only a 15 minute journey (costing approx 3 pounds & 60 pence) to...

Great little lodge. Very friendly staff, with good information of the surrounding areas. Stayed to one night as a stop over. We were not disappointed. We did not have breakfast. But used the bar and Restaurant in the evening. Good value for money. The room was clean and comfortable bed.

Stayed here for 2 nights this week whilst working locally. Ideal location for our office in Sale and it's a great place, great food and breakfast, nice little bar and friendly staff who couldn't do more for you. Also great value for money, I wouldn't consider booking anywhere else in future. Book direct with the hotel for the best rates.
