One night is good but two nights are better. Don't rush. Try to arrive at the hotel around 3:00. Check-in walk around the hell then take the onsen bath before dinner at the hotel. The check-in was smooth and we were presented with a welcome tea and small snack. The Japanese room we chose for my family of four was large and clean with little furniture. Our room, which had the hell view, was spacious but a bit worn. The wall paper was peeling, balcony carpet had some stains. The sink was old and had stains around the tap. Wow what a pleasant surprise the price is 21,750yen per person, one of the best value for price onsen we visited. We had been to over fifty onsens in Japan. food is excellent, price is reasonable, onsen is milky relaxing (one of the best onsens I visited) I took a 3 to 5 minutes bath in the milky onsen and felt so relaxed that I slept a long time nearly missed my dinner with my friends. I really like to use your website as my guide line to book hotel because the reviews are near to description of the hotel. Wow... I'm falling in love Unzen and Fukiya hotel because everything is very very nice. This hotel is very near bus terminal you can walk around 2-3 minute Lol, Yep that's true very very convenient.
