This spa hotel is fairly old. Staff are nice but really poor at English. The room we stayed in is not big. THey have offered male spa/ female spa in main buidling and family private spa in each building. Our relatives stay in a much bigger room with separated sitting room and bedroom(for 3 people). Our room is just a... More

The reason that we stay at Sakura is attracted by their mud onsen experience. Me & my daughter were so happy & satisfied with their service & meal during our stay. They have very nice open air onsens for guests with mud for free , I highly recommend this experience. They provide deliver services at the station by call in... More

Although I didn't spend the night at Sakura Sakura, I bathed and ate dinner here after a long day of hiking. The baths are open to the public until 8:00 p.m., which is later than those of other resorts nearby. Admission to the baths costs 700 yen per person. There were three prix fixe dinner options available, of which we... More

Reasonable Ryokan in Kirishima spa area. We had a good time because staffs were fiendly. Even 5min walk place to spa, they picked us from our room. We fully enjoyed hot spring and mudpack. This Ryokan locates about 2km from Kirishima Shrine. I'm sure I will stay here again.

We loved this ryokan and it is one of the best (of many) we have stayed in across Japan. Beautiful indoor and outdoor Onsen with fun "mud" option. Excellent food, very good accommodation and wonderful staff (they were brilliant when our rental car broke down and had to be replaced and kindly sorted everything out for us). Very highly recommended.

My husband and I had a fantastic 3-days at Sakura Sakura. We booked a room at incredible discount through their website. It was for an 'Oyado' i.e. little one-bedroom cottage housed among other similar cottages. As others have also commented, this ryokan is famous for its hotsprings which didn't disappoint; they are a great variety of indoor and outdoor hotspring... More

I went with my wife and my wife adore this "Sakura sakura" Onsen(Japanese Ryokan style) The good thing is "mud" estetic. Most of the ladies stay Onsen(Hot Spring) more than 2 or 3 hours at thsi Ryokan. Even male(Like I) enjoy very much and skin become younger. I promise that all foreignes must visit this even after "Sunamushi Buro" of... More
