Fushiokaku is a larger old style 8 story Ryokan and onsen set in the beautiful hills of Ikeda 35 kl from Osaka. Despite some problems with our booking and my lack of Japanese language skills we eventually resolved it and the staff were friendly and attentive. Our room had a lovely view of the mountains made even more delightful by the...

It's was full house but the place was quiet. Ambience was good. Spacious areas n room enough for 3 persons. We have our own tub in the room. Dinner was nice, the beef especially tasty n fresh. Breakfast was good - western n Japanese Buffet. The staff was friendly, courteous and welcoming. Service could be more efficient and helpful. Maybe...

Spent a couple of nights in a room with a private onsen, was not hot spring water but it got really hot so was great for us. Beautiful view of the mountain side. Relaxing sounds of the nearby waterfall. Room was spacious Japanese style tatami room. Slept on futons which was an interesting experience. The dinner was exotic and breakfast...

We wanted to add a relaxing day as we had otherwise packed very hectic days in our Osaka itinerary. The hotel is a little outside the main city of Osaka, but it's just about 20 minutes by public transport to get to Ikeda station from Namba. At Ikeda station there is a free shuttle that takes you to the hotel....

I was really satistisfied with outside hot spring and meals! It was perfect to relax. Meal was great than I expected, so I ate several times until I felt full. Thank you very much for your service.

The hotel seems a little bit old. Free shuttle van is provided. There is no scenic point nearby. Only hot spring, a swimming pool and massage service which need to pay. It seems boring. Breakfast and dinner is general. We are 3 adults and 2 kids. We went to have our dinner according to the booking time. They only served...

Location: near the Itami airport. Hotel provides shuttle pickup from a Ikeda station. Alternatively, it's a 20min taxi ride from Ikeda station. Rooms: rooms were quite small but sufficient for 3 persons to sleep in. dining: the kaiseiki dinner and breakfast was excellent. We were very happy with the breakfast spread especially which features freshly made tofu... Delicious! Staff: very...

The hotel has none of the Osakan friendliness about it. They're business like and efficient. For what we received the lunch and bath was really overpriced. If your group's more than 10 people it's cheaper. We ordered a ¥5300 lunch with 3 hour use of a private Tatami room. And includes use of the onsen The food was very good...

We booked one stay with two meals (dinner and breakfast) at around HKD1,070 per person. You can request for tatami and non-smoking room. The room is spacious with a massage chair.
