We stayed here for a night during the cherry blossom season and booked only a few days prior to arrival so had limited choice of hotels in the area. The room was dated and poorly decorated and the bed was one of the worst we slept on during our 3 week trip. The staff were OK, not particularly attentive but... More

Location is not so bad. There are several convenience store near by. Staff were friendly and breakfast was very good. It would be better if we could stay at Shin Osaka Sunny Stone hotel for transportation.

I booked this hotel because it is one of the cheapest and available hotel in Osaka during the holiday season. We stayed on the same hotel last year. The place is quite near the Esaka station exit 6. Although, if you have heavy luggage, you need to get down using the elevator from the train station, you will need to... More

I actually made a mistake when I booked this hotel - thought I was booking Sunny Stone, not Sunny Stone 11. After getting a taxi from the station I then had to get another taxi to Sunny Stone 11 - just make sure you know exactly which hotel you are booking because it is apparently a common mistake. Sunny Stone... More

Hotel was booked as part of an overnight tour from Tokyo to Kyoto. Turned out to be clean and was able to get on to the non smoking floor. No double bed but we pushed the two single beds together. Ok sized room and hotel was well kept. Came with breakfast buffet and you can have a choice of Japanese... More

This review is being written in this particular hotel, I am so displeased. It started with a mix-up. My intention was to book the Shin-Osaka Sunny Stone Hotel, which I had previously stayed in, and found to be absolute bliss. After sending me halfway across the city, I came to this one. Situated in Esaka (not nearly walking or cycling... More

It's a very average hotel. Nothing bad but nothing fancy either. It is within walking distance to the 江坂 (pronounced Saeka I think) subway station which is 2 stops away from the Shin-Osaka Shinkansen station. It's the red subway line that also goes directly to Umeda, Shinsaibashi, Namba, etc. To get to the hotel from the subway station though, you... More

Hotel is not in the city center, but it is very close to Esaka subway station that brings you directly to Namba. If I remembered correctly it should be exit 7, but you can always ask the person at the subway station. There is a small shopping area near the hotel with restaurants, shops, convenient store and a supermarket (it's... More
