We found this site by chance and had a very relaxing 1 night break. Went to the Greyhound pub, about 10 mins walk; first few hundred yards on road so take hi viz and torch. Good ale and food and lovely attentive landlady, with bags of enthusiasm. Went for walk next day to Underhill Lane, along in Westerley direction and...

We stayed here for two nights while cycling around the South Downs and were so pleased we chose this campsite. Chris and his team are so friendly and helpful, full of local knowledge and happy to share. The loo and shower areas are well appointed and kept spotless. The location offers easy access to Ditching Beacon and the South Downs....

Stayed here in the big field, for one night,in our tents whilst visiting a local vineyard for wine tasting. Facilities clean, nice views, can hire fire pits. Good location, and nice and quiet. Would stay again.

Visited campsite to test out further bits and bobs on our caravan. The management were really helpful. The site was quite but the toilet and shower block was spotless. I have been camping for 18 years and these were the cleanest toilet and shower block I have ever seen on a campsite. The extra bonus was the showers were brilliant....

Stayed here before and it is still a perfect base for touring the area, the site has all the essentials, hard standing electrical hook-up, water and disposal on the pitch. The washrooms are immaculate and the showers are very powerful and refreshing after a long walk on the nearby south down way. The staff are all helpful and very friendly...

Stayed in a motorhome. It's an easy 20 minute walk into Hassocks, though be aware that the first 200 or so yards are down a minor road with no pavement and hedges growing out into the grass verge so you have to squeeze into the hedge to get out of the way when cars come by - it's quite a...

What a lovely little campsite pretty close to Hassocks where there are shops and a train station which goes straight into Brighton. Great area for bike rides. The toilets were very clean and the showers were better than mine at home. They were awesome. The owners are nice, friendly and very helpful. A perfect site for what we wanted, ie...

What a wonderful site! Lovely clean facilities, gorgeous views and run by two of the kindest gentlemen I've ever come across! I arrived at the site with a sprained ankle, they were so kind and helpful - finding me a cold compress and tubigrip and even going and getting us a couple of bottles of wine on our second night...

Great facilities, which are cleaned regularly, and run by a lovely couple. This site is great for both families and couples. We misunderstood what an electric point was, and had paid extra for a service for we didn't need, and despite it being our mistake, the managers allowed us to make use of other 'paid for' facilities with the difference,...

Took our kids for their first camping trip here. It's got the obvious stunning views of the South Downs, easy access to beautiful walks and a little town about a mile away. Friendly staff, good clean facilities, a dated playground area but still ok. Liked the open field giving you choice on where to pitch up. Will definitely be back...
