We stayed at the Chateau for two nights at the end of our holiday, it is a very unique Bed and Breakfast, as the property has been the home to the family for 500 years. They were very helpful and accommodating, putting an extra bed in the room for us for our five year old, and offered to iron our...

Stayed in the apartment which was huge and lovely. Guillaume and Anne-Christine are wonderful hosts and were full of knowledge about the area and its history and made us fell so at home. We loved exploring the old buildings on the site and hearing their plans for them. Teenage children loved it! We will return

We stayed for a single night whilst on a driving holiday in Normandy, Chateau de I'Lsle-Marie was by far the most picturesque place we stayed during our trip and was a highlight of the holiday. Both the Chateau and the Manoir are great buildings and beautifully decorated, particularly the Chateau. The grounds are extensive and well worth exploring, although we...

I came to the Castle and stayed for 3 weeks, all the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful with any questions I had, and always with a smile on their face. The location is absolutely stunning and perfect for a quiet getaway, it is located near to most of the famous historic sites of Normandy. The breakfast was very...

I would love to review my stay at this property when I stayed there three years ago, under the care of Dorothy and Simon. It was perfect. Having looked at the website recently I can see that the place looks very different inside than it did when I stayed there. I can not say whether the new owners/managers provide good...

I surprised my husband by booking this b&b in August. We were touring the war sites prior to our time in Paris. Honestly, I wish I would have known how great this place was and booked longer. The area is so charming and the restaurants in the nearby town are family run. Charming area, true France! The b&b was breathtaking...

My husband and I traveled to the Normandy area with our four teenage children. Chateau de l'Isle Marie was the highlight of the trip. The hosts, Dorothea and Simon, are wonderful and so helpful with recommendations. Simon gave us a brief history of the house. We were able to explore much of the property and really enjoyed seeing the authenticity...

We spent 3 nights at the Chateau and in large, spacious room, with ensuite. Our host was very welcoming and we sat with our wine, cheese and (French!) bread and chatted with our host and a few other guests. An open fire was an added bonus. The Chateau was - as you would expect - very atmospheric. Don't go expecting...
