Two night break with friends visiting from Australia. Couldn't have chosen better. Beautiful country house hotel, traditional period features, comfortable accommodation, spotlessly clean. Iain was a perfect host, friendly and happy to chat and give lots of information on what to see and do. He recommended and booked dinner for us in the best local restaurants. Dinner not available at...

Stunning hotel, everywhere was spotlessy clean, the room was amazing, the view was lovely, the food was awesome and the owners Ian and Elaine were excellent. The personal touch of the owners was wonderful, so firendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for their customers. Absoutely loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone! My husband checked in and warm,y greeted by our host. The reservation process and communications with him instantly recognized us. We felt honored to have their lovely tea that afternoon and were able to relax and unwind in one of the quiet nooks in the parlor. Tea should be a must- our host does it properly and the tea offerings...

My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Tigh na Sgiath a couple of weeks ago. The accommodation was exceptional - very clean with great view, wifi around the clock, an amazing breakfast (we are both vegetarian and got vegetarian Haggis) and a wide range of Whiskey’s! Ian and Elaine were so welcoming and was more than happy to...

This was the first time we had stayed at Tigh na Sgiath, although we have used a number of hotels around the area during the last 15 years or so. The hotel is set in a very quiet location, just outside of Dulnain Bridge. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night with our 7 year old daughter, and although...

We stayed here for one night whilst in the area to attend the wedding of friends. Such a shame we didn't stay longer. The hotel is really nice and we were upgraded to a superior room which was great. The en suite is seriously top end with jacuzzi bath, tv screen, underfloor heating. Superb value for money and set up...

My husband booked 3 nights at Tigh na Sgiath as a surprise for a special birthday and it was a wonderful place to stay. We stayed in the Craggan room which was beautifully decorated and had a really comfortable bed. It was also so quiet and peaceful that a good night's sleep was no trouble at all. The bathroom was...

Fantastic hotel and lovely people. Watch red squirrels while you eat breakfast! (Fantastic kippers) Real fires and a choice of whisky in the evening. This was our First visit to the Cairngorms which are beautiful although hilltops can be very windy! Will definitely go back!

Stayed here this weekend for the first time, and it won't be our last visit. Very impressed with the friendly welcome from Ian in the comfy lounge area with a roaring log fire! Shown up to our room and again very impressive. Nice spacious room with small seating area in turret and a very generous ensuite bathroom. Room was immaculate,...

We know this area well and decided to visit for a mid week break last minute. Originally had booked for 2 nights but ended up staying a 3rd as we didn't want to leave. The building itself has lots of character and an interesting history which Iain the owner kindly told us about when we asked. We had afternoon tea...
