My husband booked 3 nights at Tigh na Sgiath as a surprise for a special birthday and it was a wonderful place to stay. We stayed in the Craggan room which was beautifully decorated and had a really comfortable bed. It was also so quiet and peaceful that a good night's sleep was no trouble at all. The bathroom was...

Fantastic hotel and lovely people. Watch red squirrels while you eat breakfast! (Fantastic kippers) Real fires and a choice of whisky in the evening. This was our First visit to the Cairngorms which are beautiful although hilltops can be very windy! Will definitely go back!

Stayed here this weekend for the first time, and it won't be our last visit. Very impressed with the friendly welcome from Ian in the comfy lounge area with a roaring log fire! Shown up to our room and again very impressive. Nice spacious room with small seating area in turret and a very generous ensuite bathroom. Room was immaculate,...

We know this area well and decided to visit for a mid week break last minute. Originally had booked for 2 nights but ended up staying a 3rd as we didn't want to leave. The building itself has lots of character and an interesting history which Iain the owner kindly told us about when we asked. We had afternoon tea...

The Hotel is beautiful, with lots of period features and a lovely atmosphere. You are made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is excellent, as was the evening meal we had on the last day of our stay.

Beautiful hotel with the most warm and friendly welcome from Iain the owner. Fantastic breakfast with great menu choices. Bed was comfortable and slept like a log. Rooms spotless . Great value for money and would gladly visit the area even if it was just to stay in this hotel and relax for a few days.

Just returned from another visit to this hotel and have already re-booked for next year! Tigh na Sgiath is the most perfect haven - we were exhausted when we arrived and within three days we were totally restored. The beds are extremely comfortable and there is always plenty of hot water. The cooked breakfasts are first class - I enjoyed...

We stayed overnight at this lovely country house and wish it had been longer, we will definitely be back. We had our dogs with us and could not believe the beautiful room we were given, the afternoon tea was delicious and as said in other reviews Iain made you feel completely welcome and at home. Breakfast was again delicious, with...
