Our first time at this hotel and agree with all the rave reviews. From the time of arrival to the time of departure it was an absolute pleasure - fantastic food, wonderful hosts, luxurious bed, roaring fire, complementary sherry - and the dog made welcome! We will return.

We stayed at Tigh na Sgiath as a short "mini-honeymoon" and we are so glad we chose this hotel. Everything - the service, rooms and food - was absolutely impeccable. Complimentary drinks on arrival, beautiful bedroom with stunning views of the surrounding hills, very well presented sitting room with roaring fire and to top it all off - champagne and...

Tigh na Sgiath is a special place run by two special people. It captures the real essence of Highland hospitality - traditional but with modern comforts and attention to detail. The food and service is exemplary - when you spot the owner/chef ironing sheets at 11pm you know you are somewhere where they really care! Although it was our first...

From first walking in and being welcomed by Iain the owner and being offered a complimentary whisky or sherry we were made to feel at home and welcome. The hotel is clean, cosy and welcoming. We stayed...

My wife and I stayed at the hotel recently and were very impressed. The hospitality on offer from beginning to end is something that Visit Scotland should bottle and expect every hotelier to copy. The room we stayed is was the Ballindoloch and was beautiful. We decided to have dinner at the hotel and have to say we were not...
