There were 8 of us who stayed at Grinzing Lodge for 1 night in June before catching our flight the next morning We had 3 rooms all of which were fine and breakfast very good. The Lodge is very close to the airport and we did hear planes taking off but, that was fine - you can't stay that close...

We stayed for 1 night to get an early flight the next day. A 5 minutes drive from the airport the B&B plus the car parking for 2 weeks was great value and we had a great nights stay to start our holiday. We booked by telephone and Chris asked us to send a cheque to confirm the room which...

Beautifully run on a country lane, a completely different experience from the nearby megahotels servicing Manchester airport. We had one of the lower-priced small upstairs rooms. Clean and comfortable with shared bathroom whose on-demand shower geyser provided plenty of pre-dawn hot water. Chris, the co-proprietor, noticed at 10:00 pm that we'd accidentally left our car internal light on. He tapped...

Stayed overnight before heading to America. Were upgraded to the on suite room which was a fab bonus. Chris very friendly & goes out of his way to make sure your stay is pleasurable. Ended up leaving the car there, than driving miles away for airport parking. taxi to airport £5, well worth avoiding the airport parking. Chris has deal...

Stayed here while attending a wedding at Styal lodge. This B&B was ideally situated for getting to the venue, a taxi cost us £4 on the way there and a little more on the way back. Chris was our host and very welcoming and friendly. We asked him a lot of questions about local amenities, getting to cash machines etc...

Our stay was excellent and it is ideal place for an overnight stay before going to the airport. Chris was most welcoming and the room was modern and clean, in fact the decor throughout is very nice. Breakfast was good and the parking arrangements first class. We would definitely stay there again. Very good value for money.

My wife and I stayed one night at Grinzing Lodge on 6th January, 2011, as we had an early morning flight. On arrival we were greeted by Chris (the owner) who welcomes you warmly to his home, he also helped us with the luggage from car to room. We had booked the Chardonnay Suite, which was spacious and consisted of...
