Anvaya Cove Beach & Nature Club is a beautiful and well-designed members-only destination, offering a peaceful escape with excellent facilities. The architecture is stunning, and the resort has a lot of potential to be a truly world-class private retreat—but unfortunately, it misses the mark on key details.

The Good:
• Food & Dining: The beachside restaurants and the trailer pop-up are fantastic, offering a variety of delicious options. Skip the buffet, though—it’s underwhelming, and you’re much better off dining at the other venues.
• Spa & Wellness: The spa is outstanding, and I had one of the best lymphatic massages ever. The adjacent outdoor shower after the treatment was an incredible touch, making it a standout experience.
• Activities & Recreation: The gym is decent, and the game room is enjoyable, though it would feel more premium with warmer lighting to match the resort’s aesthetic. The water activities and equipment could also use an update, as they feel a bit outdated.

Areas for Improvement:
• Shuttle System: The on-property shuttle service between different venues could use better scheduling or improvements—it wasn’t as seamless as expected.
• Attention to Detail: While the resort’s design is beautiful, the small details are overlooked, preventing it from being a truly luxurious experience.
• Service & Hospitality: The biggest issue for me—Filipino hospitality is known worldwide, but here, it fell a bit short. Despite having a lot of staff present, attentiveness was lacking, requiring multiple follow-ups for basic requests. This was surprising for a private members’ club.

Final Thoughts:

Overall, Anvaya Cove is a great place to relax and unwind, with strong potential to be exceptional. With improvements in service, better attention to guest needs, and a refresh of certain facilities, this could easily be a top-tier private resort. Would I return? Yes. But I’d love to see them fine-tune the experience to truly live up to its exclusivity.

The pace is beautiful but it can be a bit difficult to visit as it is an exclusive resort. It would help if you know somebody who owns a condo unit in the area. There are two restaurants that offer good food. There's a bar as well.

New place! Good service! Had problem with the key but solved already through a technique. Quick service. Good food. New sports and beach facilities. Good golf view. But poor internet connection. Cool breeze! Very dark on the streets at night!

Beautiful location and views, one of the best golf spots but is too overpriced for the service they provide and mediocre food. If you intend on staying in a condo, it’s a cheaper option but they don’t even provide wifi, there’s no wifi in surrounding areas either other than common areas. They no longer accept any cash payment. I’ll note that everyone’s check-in experience is different and in my first day, we were checked in almost immediately at the given time. However this time, I was told check in would be at 12nn and my room would be ready by then, but they didn’t have it ready until two and a half hours later. The restaurant staff are accommodating but the reception and housekeeping was disappointing. There were several dead bugs on the bed in my first stay and trash from previous guests that haven’t been cleaned from under the bed. AC wasn’t working for a few hours, but they did have wifi in the hotel.

Still very good service and facilities. Food has improved and upgrading, and expansion of dining facilities (Pawikan) are forthcoming. Rooms continue to be improved though daily cleaning and housekeeping services for rooms need to be requested by guests.

Built by the Ayala Corp, this exclusive resort caters to the well to do and rich tourists that can afford this well manicured and well maintained haven. The moment you arrive, you are required to know a member in order to enter the guarded gates.

You then drive another mile to the main area where the front desk and beach is located. Your driver, body guard or help are not permitted to enter past the front desk. They have their own sleeping quarters about another mile away and are fed breakfast, lunch and dinner.

When we arrived on the weekday, there was hardly anyone there, but when we checked out on the weekend, the weekend crowd had just arrived making it appear very busy.

Anvaya is quite large. It consists of multiple rentable cabins, pools, restaurants and of course its own beach situated in a beautiful natural cove. You are driven to your cabin in a long golf cart which you can call any time to pick you up if you decide not to walk.

Not sure if there were other options, but the room we had had 2 single beds with 2 pull outs. This makes for either an uncomfortable night or you sleeping separately from your spouse. The beds were also a bit on the firm side. The bathroom was large with a big shower area that had strong water pressure.

The main pool is great for kids and is situated right beside the beach. There is another pool by the Sports bar that is smaller and more private. The main restaurant by the front desk is where you have breakfast which includes a warm selection of Philippine breakfast foods. There is another restaurant situated towards the left end of the beach that serves delicious traditional Philippine food, and a separate restaurant by the Sports bar that serves pizza and tasty Italian pasta. The main pool has a bar area that serves cold drinks.

The beach has a swimming area that is protected by life guards. The water was warm, clear and had little waves and current being that it was within a cove. There are beach activities like kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. that you can rent for an hour+. The sand is not white like Boracay, but still very clean.

Other than our room configuration and the long ”zigzag” drive to get here (which made the kids sick), Anvaya does a great job taking care of you and making sure that your stay is as pleasant as possible. If you are lucky enough to be able to go, its definitely worth experiencing at least once if not more.

The views are alright, Montemar was much better, comparatively. It didn't seem worth the price. Nothing really stood out when it came to the facilities and service, except for the massage staff, who did an amazing job. The food is mediocre and unreasonably priced, access to the beach/pool seems generally very restricted.

We felt as though there were far too many hidden costs as well. Would sooner go to another beach club than back to Anvaya. Wifi was also terrible, and there were hardly any staff around if we needed anything.

We stayed here for two nights.
Our room was very clean, nicely decorated and just a couple of minute walk from the restaurants, pool and beach.
Resort management and staff were very nice and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The food was always very good.
If you have time, sit on the roof of the beach bar, have a cocktail and enjoy the beautiful sunsets.
If you play golf, play the nearby Anvaya Cove Golf Course. It’s in great condition and some of the views are spectacular.

It was our 3rd time to visit Anvaya Cove, but the first time to stay overnight and I must say that we really loved our stay here. This place is a member-exclusive resort but if you have friends who are members, you can book through them. On weekends, they must personally be there and “endorse” you to the hotel staff.

I would say that this is a great place if you want an escape from the city and just have a nice one-on-one time with nature. There are a number of fun water activities that you can choose from. They also have a spa which is located near the beach. We personally enjoyed this because while having our massage, we could hear real ocean waves and it was truly a relaxing experience. The swimming pools are beautiful. The beach area is nice and clean.

Very clean and spacious surroundings. Their staff are very respectful and efficient. All room facilities and common areas are well-maintained. The quality of the food and the choices were excellent. It’s nice to visit this beach resort that’s only 3 hours by car from Manila. We really enjoyed the Sisig and the halo-halo.

rain can be very relaxing and it doesn't rain forever. There is also a massage/spa there and restaurants (so long as you're not vegan/vegetarian).

i know the answer is late but maybe helpful to others, unless you are sponsored by a member, you cannot book directly with the resort. however, you can book a room/condo/house with the many members who have residential units. this will grant you access to the beach club. not sure about the golf course. there are many unit owners who lease their units.
