If you find yourself in the Rural Camp Perin area near Cayes, this is nice hotel. Probably best in the area. There is good breakfast and the rooms are pretty good. The rating is based on expectations for small rural area hotels. Explore the paths along the old irrigation canals.

I was visiting Les Cayes with my boyfriend from the US. One of his brothers recommended this hotel. Upon the main entry of the hotel the roads are not paved so get ready for a bumpy ride. But once you arrive at the hotel. It's beautiful. It's definitely not a fancy five star hotel but it's a cozy hotel that will definitely fulfill your needs. It has the Haitian feel surrounded by plaintain trees. The rooms were decent. With your reservation they include free breakfast which is good. They also have a restaurant across the hotel which serves very good food and very good natural fruit juices I would recommend the passion fruit juice they make it right there and it's fresh. It's not that Welch brand passion fruit juice. They also have wifi but you would have to be near the lobby for it to work. If you're inside the room it doesn't usually work. But overall I would recommend this hotel. I enjoyed my stay there.

The staff is very friendly and polite, the food is ok, the rooms are expensive and you don't get the service for the price you paid. The beds are very uncomfortable, and cheaply made. There are no one available after hours. There are no phones in the room, front desk is never available, and the worst part, there are no electricity and there is no water in the shower during the day. You only get electricity at night. Multiple times I was taking a shower and the power went out, and the water stop running, in other for the water to run, it needs electricity to. Pump it. I stayed there 3 times with a group of missionary, so I know what I'm talking about. And each time we go we stayed for 7 days. We stayed there because it's convenient to where we do missionary work. They charged $88.00 us for a room with 1 full bed, and 1 very small bed. If you are going on a business trip where you going to spend all day out and come back around 6pm that's when the power usually back on, but if you are gonna spend the day on a romantic stay, I. Suggest you stay somewhere else.

We stayed at Le Recul Hotel for one night in the last week of august 2015. The staff is friendly and very courteous. The local is quiet and beautiful but the rooms are expensive ($88/night for a standard room). In addition, customers don't get enough for their money. The pool was out of use. Everything in the room was cheap: the soap, the paper, not enough towels...The breakfast is really poor: you have the choice between a plate of spaghetti or scrambled eggs and bread, followed by a glass of coffee or water water; no fruit, no milk. Same for the restaurant that is in front of the hotel: we were charged $ 21.15 US for 2 small bowls of oatmeal! However, it is the best place to stay if you plan to spend the day in visiting the beautiful sites of Camp-Perrin
