We stayed here last night and really enjoyed our stay, very comfortable and clean rooms. The only thing I could fault would be the shower pressure. The pub itself was decent too, unfortunately we didn't get to eat here during the day but the food looked and smelled good. The breakfast menu differed from the one given in the rooms...

I stayed just for the one night whilst working nearby, this is a pub with 5 rooms over the pub. The room was very clean and smart, basic but definitely adequate. The only slight grumble was the shower pressure was poor. The breakfast was very good and very fresh. The staff were very pleasant and efficient. The parking was easy...

What a lovely place! Called 5 mins before we sat down. What a nice reception to only being called 5 mins before we turned up! Beer was brilliant, could have stayed all night! Food was brilliant, you won't leave hungry. My meal was lovely and hot. Steak was cooked to perfection and so tender. Chips were proper ones too. My...

You must remember that this is an old building. In fact the oldest in the village. The girls were great and friendly. The rooma were comfortable. A few small issues with the plumbingyand shower curtain in my colleagues room. But the rooms were clean ans the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding value. I was attending a family...

Decent accommodation and very good food. Reasonable price. Friendly staff. Visited with a large group of friends. I would recommend. The carvery was excellent with a good choice and quality food but at a reasonable price. Good location in the centre of Lutterworth.

Whilst 4 of us were staying in Lutterworth, we noticed this quaint thatched pub in the high street and closer up saw it's award plaques for good food! We hadn't booked a table, but friendly staff found us one after about 5 minutes - very lucky as very busy (Saturday evening). Some great value meal offers and a good menu...

Such a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere. Lovely steak dinner (impressive portion!) Everyone was super helpful including the gentleman whom served me breakfast. The Shambles were so lovely with our big group of riders, amazing service and smiley faces. The regulars are very friendly too. A huge thank you for making us feel so welcome! Superstars!

Last weekend our Rapha Cycling Club met in the Shambles for dinner after riding 180km from London and Manchester to train for the Rapha Manchester to London Challenge in September. The staff and family were fantastic hosts, very organised and super accommodating despite us being late on account of mechanicals. The food is top notch and everything homecooked, and the...

I ate and lodged at The Shambles on a cycling trip from London to Manchester. The staff were friendly and accommodating and if you like great homecooked wholesome food I can't recommend it highly enough! There is space for parking out front and the food service was quicker than I expected. If I am ever in Lutterworth I would visit...
