It seems that this hotel has had something of a makeover since Fiona and her husband took it over. Always popular with the fishing fraternity it now has a lot of NC500 travellers. The sitting rooms are pretty, whilst retaining the traditional fisherman's trophies alongside more contemporary textiles. Our bedroom (no 1) was above reception, so we had no issues...

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful part of Scotland. Room was clean and well furnished wiith lovely furnishings and decor. Plenty of hot water for baths and soaking away the days walking. The food was amazing and well presented with a daily changing four course dinner menu. Everything was freshly prepared from local produce and plenty of it! Breakfasts were fantastic...

After travelling for several hours from the Isle of Skye, we were pleased to make it to the Scourie Hotel. They were very welcoming. The rooms are fantastic and the bar has quite a selection of your favorite spirits. They even had a bottle of Death's Door Gin from our home state of Wisconsin! The dinners and breakfast were excellent....

This was the 3rd stop on the North Coast 500. There had been no family rooms left at the time of booking, so they kindly put a z bed in our room. Even with the extra bed, there was plenty of room (our son said the z bed was the most comfortable of the whole trip!). We loved the bar...

We have traveled all over the world and this hotel and owners make it a restful retreat. Excellent food, fishing (if you want), kindness, calm, unspoilt beauty, a perfect place to rest, walk, fish, read, sleep, and dine on wonderful farm to table meals. The hosts could not be more welcoming.

We stayed here for one night in August 2016, it being the middle of three hotels we stayed at whilst on the North Coast 500 with Performance Portfolio. The hotel was booked as recommended by Performance Portfolio even though we did express our concerns with them based on the hotel's website and the overall appearance of the hotel. However, we...

A very comfortable hotel with all the facilities one could ask for while fishing in the local lochs. All the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the kitchen turns out wholesome breakfasts and dinners with a packed lunch if required.
