Personally I'd give the bus a miss and rent a car. You should check out the bus timetables before making a decision. The previous answer was not very specific on times or frequency. As a native of Scotland, I'd be happy to restate my love of this wonderful place but I'd never consider public transport as a viable option for enjoying the best of a pretty remote area.

You'll need to speak to Carl about the price. If you like an early night ask for a room away from the bar.
