Stayed along the road in Kirtomy so cant comment on accommodation- had evening meal which was great pub food well served in nice bar style -also catered for daughters dairy/gluten intolerance which was good- great place to go to after walking the dogs on Farr beach or a tramp over the hill from Kirtomy

We stopped in for a night as part of the NC500 and were amazed by the standard of care and facilities available to us, the photos online really don't do the place justice. The room was huge with a lovely modern en suite with gorgeous views of the surrounding hills. We were received with a lovely warm welcome, and then...

We travelled from Ullapool, following the coastal route and arrived late afternoon, with a warm welcome. The Inn is full of character, as we pulled in from the road, sheep were grazing on the land around, which was lovely to see. We stayed just 1 night on our NC500 touring holiday of the Scottish Highlands, but, I feel that I have...

Stayed a night here and were disappointed that for the price paid the accommodation didn't quite come up to expectations. Rooms were dated and tired. The beds had seen better days and pillows were like sad excuses; quite worn out. The bathroom was something to experience (or not). Walk by shower, with window onto hall. Curtain to outside window was...

We found booking accommodation on our NC500 trip tricky as lots of places were already booked up. This place is about 1km down from Betty Hill. As with the other reviews, first impressions were that the house (which is super old) needs a lick of paint and some repairs but the small bar was awesome. Felt like a proper tiny...

Gloomy entrance overgrown with trees sets the tone for the FBI experience. The room was clean enough but the furnishings are dated and the bathroom was cramped and had a bizarrely placed window, The owners were friendly but they either don't have the money or the incentive to invest the necessary amount. The property could be as stunning as the...

Was lucky to get a cancellation for this place as the entire north of Scotland seemed to be fully booked. My brother and I were touring Scotland on our Motorcycles and when we arrived, I'll be honest, it didn't look that welcoming. The building itself could do with a lick of paint, the bar area lacked any character and reminded...

Don't be put off by the exterior because inside it is warm and friendly. The bedroom was nicely decorated with ample tea and coffee. The ensuite was a little small but was clean and the water was nice and hot. The bar encouraged chatting with other guests and regulars alike. The setting is delightful and the beach, which is a...

Nestled amongst the dunes of Farr Bay close to the beautiful village of Bettyhill on Scotlands North Coast, the Farr Bay Inn offeres a superb location for a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With a welcoming atmosphere, log fire, lovely rooms & a well stocked bar. The Farr Bay inn (or F.B.I as its known locally) is popular amongst locals and holiday-makers alike. At the Farr Bay Inn, all our rooms have been recently renovated and are each characterful, cosy, spacious and light. Our rooms are fully en-suite and are equipped with Flatscreen TV & DVD players, Tea, Coffee & Hot Chocolate making facilities, Hair-dryers, a wardrobe, extra blankets and Hot Water bottles.
