This is a wonderful place in a quiet street that's off the beaten path. The old farmhouse is charming, well appointed, and very comfortable. I stayed there while visiting friends in the Brussels area who weren't in a position to have houseguests, and it was just 5 minutes from their house. Wonderful opportunities to walk through charming neighborhoods and parks nearby, and the hosts are warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the Royal Museum for Central Africa was closed for remodeling during my visit, but it's supposed to reopen soon with expanded space for its large collection.
My family and I stayed at Leolodge, whilst waiting to move countries, all our belongings were being shipped, but LeoLodge catered for us fantastically. We had beautifully decorated rooms, a separate lounge and an eat-in kitchen. We woke up every morning to a great breakfast and the children loved it when Joelle had made pancakes for them as a treat! I would highly recommend LeoLodge as a base, with lots of space, amazing decor and it felt like home for 10 days!
LeoLodge is a wonderful B&B near the Royal Museum for Central Africa. It's a short walk to the museum, park, town center, grocery stores, and restaurants. It's most convenient for visits to the RMCA, but it's also a short bus ride to the beautiful university town of Leuven and a short tram ride to Brussels. It's clean and has a very good breakfast. The rooms are very comfortable, and the bathroom has an excellent hot shower. The owners are also very nice. I've stayed here twice and plan to stay here in the future when I visit the RMCA. It's also a very reasonably priced B&B that would be a good place to stay if you want to stay outside of Brussels. I can't recommend it more highly.
LeoLodge is a lovely B&B, located in Tervuren. Ideally situated to visit the RMCA (both for their fantastic collections and for walks around the beautiful land behind the museum). LeoLodge itself is equipped with everything that you could need, a nice spacious kitchen, comfortable rooms and a lounge area to rest in later in the evening. It is also a 5 minute walk from the closest supermarket. Alain and Joëlle were very accommodating hosts, and any query or issue you may have is easily resolved as they live next door to the B&B. I would recommend LeoLodge to anyone visiting the RMCA, or anyone wanting to visit a beautiful area of Belgium that's not in the middle of a city.
I stayed here 14 days once in 2012 and now in 2016, and it was a pleasure to visit this place again. Very quiet place, with beautiful surroundings, shop and bus/tram stops in a walking distance, with fully equipped kitchen and very kind family. You will have your privacy kept, but if you need something you can just ask anytime. There is also a comfortable living room equipped with TV and library, so you can relax inside when the weather does not allow to walk in the neighbouring beautiful park. The breakfast is rich and you can even choose from more things. To sum up, I had never any problem here, would be happy to come here again in the future with my wife, and with a clear conscience I can fully recommend it to others...
