Perfect place to stay in hirafu. Close to the gondola, short walk to the Main Street, beautiful apartment with an awesome view and everything you need and even a ski hire shop at reception. "Harro" at harro's snow sports was fantastic, he looked out for us all week and made our stay very enjoyable.

Stayed at Gondola Chalets in Niseko with friends for a week . Had a four bedroom chalet with three bathrooms, it was ideal in a great spot overlooking the ski fields. The chalet was well appointed and pretty room by Japan standards. At the hotel next door you could get good coffee and also walk to many restaurants ... Recommended

Absolutely loved this place. We got a room to accommodate 8 of us and it was so spacious and homely! The team at reception were super helpful, got great ski and board hire, local food recommendations, and most of all, so so close to the hirafu gondola. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastically appointed 4 bedroom apartment We stayed here with 6 adults and had ample space with great facilities for self catering. Close to all amenities- supermarkets, gondola to ski fields, restaurants, cafe. Manager and his family were so obliging with everything, helping with bags to apartments, ringing ski company when no-one picked us up for back county skiing, nothing was...

Have booked this place again for 2017, it is just so good. Can't fault it. The only thing it doesn't have is it's own onsen. Was nice having your own drying room. David Harrow from Harro's Sports gave us such great service. Including lending us an electrical adaptor and 4 socket power board. Outstanding. "I'll be back".

Great location at just a 2-5 minute walk from the Grand Hirafu Gondola. The nearest convenience store (Lawson) is about a 10 minute walk down street & a 15 minute walk away (or less) could bring you to the more happening street where the Hirafu Welcome Center is located along with many food options. The place is well furnished, large...

We booked the Gondola Chalet through a ski company and we are so pleased that they advised us to stay at this chalet. Although furnishing may be older style rather than the sleek modern minimalist apartments in Niseko, Gondola Chalet had a charm and everything worked well and it was very comfortable, we didn't even mind the slight uphill walk...

Having stayed in ho-hum accommodation the previous year this was a real step-up. We were in Villa no. 1 - an enormous 5-bed property. You could get lost in the apartment. It has three different sitting areas, a dining room and a large kitchen. I think that there were 5 bathrooms. We were a large group but it always felt...

We stayed in the Gondola chalets for 9 nights from 16-25 January and it was simply awesome. We were a family of 6 including 4 teenagers (18,18,15 & 14) and hired the 3 bedroom option which is actually the 4 bedroom unit they just lock one of the rooms. The chalets are very well equipped and have a huge amount...

Dear Chris, Thank you very much for your kind words. It is a good idea to count the distance in terms of steps! It is true that there can be no apartment building closer to the gondola, as the land around is owned by the resort operator. We are delighted that you found the space inside the chalet enough for...

The Gondola Chalets is simply ideal for a large family groups staying for a week or so. It is a place that just makes perfect sense, a home away from home. It may not be the newest or the trendiest interiors but it is cozy, clean, comfortable and you'll find everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped and there...
