Located in a beautiful and spacious garden setting, the hotel was under renovation at the time of our visit. Spread out over the large site, the hotel lacked signage and lighting, so there was always a danger of falling into the drainage trenches that had been dug. The room was bright and airy, but lacking in a refrigerator, bathroom supplies... More

The hotel is situated at major crossroads with long distances in each direction but few local attractions so it proved a rather necessary port of call. There was a good structure and a nice room with strong A/C (necessary given the outside heat and humidity in May). We had a comfortable king bed. Water in the shower was only tepid.... More

We spent one night there while driving to Tuxtla Gutierrez. This hotel is huge, located a few minutes away by car from the city centre and it is under recovery. Our room was very modern and well furnished and everything was very clean. The bathroom was new and it also had a window. The restaurant is fine, we asked the... More

This is supposedly the best of two hotels in Tehuantepec. If this is true, i would hate to see the other one. Yes, the bed was comfortable and the wifi worked. But, in an area where mosquitoes are a problem, the hotel has a wire mesh over the windows. This would be great if there wasn't a one inch gap... More

Not recommended. Only good thing is the pool area. On arrival our rooms were not ready and we had to be accommodated on the 2nd floor which was ok except that the mosquito mesh on the window had a 1 inch gap at the bottom! The restaurant service was appalling being extremely slow with waitresses almost ignoring gestures to attend... More

The only real pro of this hotel is that it located 1/2 between San Cristobal and Oaxaca/Puerto Escondido. That is really the only positive. Shabby is best way to describe the hotel. Huge hotel, that was pretty much empty when we arrived. The shower cubicle in our room was definitely in need of a refurbishment and a good clean. The... More

Stayed here one night on the way to Palenque to cut a long journey. Had been told it's basic. It was fine. Very tropical and lush setting. Rooms clean but basic. The outer area and windows face the pool and are quite thin with mosquito coveting which goes have gaps. So make sure you have deet if you visit. The... More

Nice pool in the grounds. A separate building for meals. Breakfast appetising plenty of fruit and the usual egg dishes. good sized room clean and neat. Sliding door to balcony.Told it was basic but thought it was better than this.

Fortunately only a one night stay as part of a tour. Shabby is best way to describe. Torn lampshades and very dated decor. Small balcony accessed by unbolting a strange door. Shower cubicle definitely in need of a refurbishment and a good clean. Restaurant staff friendly but extremely slow service.

On my way from Palenque/San Cristobal to Oaxaca I needed a good clean hotel with parking and breakfast. Perfect in every way this hotel is quiet, well kept and safe. Breakfast was your basic mexican cooked to order (I chose huevos rancheros).
