Beautiful hotel, in ancient sugar factory, belonging to the prestigious Pesquera winery, we took the package including the visit to the winery. Elegantly decorated rooms, good cuisine and the opportunity to try different Pesquera wines at a very reasonable price. They need to improve the Wi-Fi coverage in the rooms situated in the second building. Very friendly service. Make sure...

Stayed here given the limited quality places in the region. Hotel was clean and modern although the quality of workmanship was poor with the floor in the room separating and many of the fixtures falling apart. Hotel restaurant was good, simple but nice food and reasonable prices. Wine selection was great with many vintages. Parking was convenient and easy. Breakfast...

This hotel is supposedly one of only a few "nice" hotels in the area. We however did not like it very much at all. The room was mostly clean but for some hair and dust mites in the corners if you look closely. They had one person manning the desk, acting as concierge, manager etc...getting her attention was not easy....

While this was more expensive than any of the other hotels we stayed in on this trip to Spain, it was worth the cost. Spectacular and contemporary in design, it is the sort of hotel where you instantly feel pampered. Rooms are very spacious, bed large and super comfortable. Bathroom also has plenty of space, fittings top quality and with...

Let's start with the good things: this is a modern hotel with stylish and good-quality furnishings. The rooms are well-sized and beds comfortable. Unfortunately those are the only good things in this hotel. AF Pesquera claims to be a luxury hotel, but it fails on almost every count. Some examples: - The hotel isn't in the village but next to...

This property is new and modern and the common areas are very pleasant and "cool". Unfortunately, we found the room very basic and lacking any luxury - all of the attention has gone into the common areas. I think the price of the rooms could be lower. The breakfast is typically Spanish but good and the staff are pleasant. First...

The hotel is new, clean and the staff is polity, however, not able to provide good indications for the ones looking to explore the wine experience that the region can offer. The site is misleading when says the wine tasting is available - what may be true only during certain weekends, and that the wine cellar provides opportunity to explore...

Hotel AF Pesquera is a stylish luxury hotel converted from an old mill. It is very modern and would not be to everyone's liking but it is ideally situated for the wine tour route. We spent 6 nights at this hotel visiting many bodegas in the area and venturing much further to visit very impressive natural parks for bird watching....

What a jewel. Tucked in Penafiel and perhaps its greatest secret is this beautiful and comfortable setting. I highly recommend staying here and using this as base as you can discover Ribera Del Duero wine region easily. It's perfect!!! The town of Penafiel was fantastic. So many good memories. There are a lot of small wine makers called "Bodegas" you...

A very modern hotel, decor and rooms. Rooms were off a corridor and the doors made it look like you were entering cells. Friendly Reception staff and breakfast staff, limited English. Garage parking, nice gardens. Hotel is located just on the outskirts of the town which is easily walkable. The Duero runs alongside. Very Spanish and very friendly. It was...
