Another fabulous holiday. Fabulous food, staff, beach, weather...... It really is a little corner of paradise. The hotel is old style Caribbean, much more laid back and in keeping with its surroundings. I have yet to find anywhere else with such an amazing location, the bay is

This hotel has a lovely private beach and lagoon and is approached through a well kept garden. That’s the good news. The hotel is very tired and in a time warp - 1970s chintz and uncomfortable rattan furniture, and gold painted statues everywhere. Not appealing. What was

This is now my 4th visit to Coco Reef and must admit that it is the most relaxing place that I have ever been too. We are on a late checkout today and trying to capture every last hour of the visit. The hotel is unique. The rooms and the architecture reflects a very Caribbean

Do you have to get off plane. Is there no direct flights to tobago
When we flew from Heathrow to to Tobago with British airways it said via Antigua where we stayed on the plane for 1 hour until passengers get off and on , then fly onto Tobago. I think virgin used to fly direct. But you will have to ask, hope this helps.

There are some shops within walking distance (10 minutes). But I'd strongly advise going for the all inclusive package - you will like the hotel and its staff so much that you'll enjoy sipping cool drinks by the wonderful beach.

Had a great holiday at Coco Reef - private beach and sheltered lagoon define plus if you like to swim/snorkel. Cannot comment on Mt Irvine as we did not visit.
