Arriving late at night with a tiny puppy and no where to stay I was greeted with love and open arms. Luckily they had a cancelation I guess. The location is pretty much on one of the prettiest and well looked after beaches I've been to, with mountains, forests and beaches all together it's a nature lovers paradise. The accommodation...

Seeking shelter from the mud, mist and rain of the Wild Coast of South Africa, we came upon this cheerful little timber structure perched on a hillside with beautiful ocean and forest views. A very friendly vibe with delicious healthy food made fresh right there. If you are looking for luxury then don't bother, this is non- pretentious, laid back,...

Dear all - please help us spread the word that Bomvu Paradise Backpackers is no longer. We are working with Trip Advisor to get everything sorted, but could really use everyone's help in spreading the word. Friends Wild Coast Backpackers took over and began renovations 20 November 2015. Our team has worked very hard to bring the magic back to...

Bomvu was really 'just ok'. Food was average. Our campsite location was quite nice but we were woken at 530am everyday by the animals, so moved into a private dorm which was fine. It wasn't particularly clean but the staff were friendly, helpful and we had a relaxing few days on the coast.

We were really disappointed with the accommodation and this is mostly due to poor management, or no management at all. When we booked we weren't informed that there wasn't going to be any electricity which meant no hot water either and this had been the situation for the past few months. Surprisingly so as the rest of Coffee Bay had...

I recently visited with friends after having seen their latest video advertising this amazing place and after the flight from the Netherlands and then the drive from Ballito in KZN, we finally arrived late afternoon only to discover that their 'Nothing Beats Bomvu' logo, it was very evident that 'Anything Beats Bomvu'. There was no sign of management and the...

This was our experience: We arrived fairly late on Friday evening from East London, we were amazed that this place was the only place in Coffee bay that had absolutely no power and the staff were walking around with headlamps to show us to our room. There were many dodgy looking power cables snaking through the place to power various...

Due to mismanagement this great venue has gone to the dogs. They 'lost' my reservation after mailing, phoning & messaging and getting confirmation. The poor pizza lady was left in charge and was lost to what she should do. My previous visit there was drumming for hours and it was packed. Unfortunately now the drummers were asked to stop after...

I stayed here for 4 nights in November. I booked it because after traveling in a dorm for so long I really wanted some quiet and a double room was very cheap! I could not get in contact with them all day about a transfer with the baz bus. The shuttle was delayed (separate company) and they did not even...
