Stayed with family. 11 people . Don't waste your time eating at the restaurant. Pathetic service. No Manager present. Only 2 waiters. Waiter doesn't know what food is available. Low stock on beverages . We waited for our food like ages. It's not worth eating here. Drive into the Kruger national park were you can enjoy your food.

Ngwenya earns 5 stars for its location, friendly and efficient staff and its well maintained estate. The units on the river allows one to sit on the veranda and fall into the soothing rhythm of Africa. Thank you we will return.

This beautifully located lodge easily wins five stars, not only because of its location beside the Crocodile River - overlooking streaming waters where crocs, Impala, Waterbokke, hippos, monkeys and many other wild animals can be seen, but because it offers the whole package! Supreme living quarters, stunning views from your backyard or from the restaurant if you're not lucky enough...

If you in to game viewing with a touch of class and relaxation, then you can't miss out on Ngwenya Lodge. I love everything about this place. Service is too good. Watch the game from your chalet. Chalets are well equipped and clean. Keep it up Ngwenya.

Loved our stay at Ngwenya. Had a large private house with a pool. Breathtaking view with very comfortable accommodation. Aircon in every room, block-out curtains, en-suite bathrooms (all with bath and shower, but 1 that only had a shower), fully equipped kitchen, serviced. The position on the Crocodile River close to the Croc Bridge gate to Kruger is unrivaled. The...

The perfect resort to book for a Krugerpark visit. We stayed here for 7 days in a beautifully 2 bedroom self catering unit with pond view. The resort offeres many pools, tennis courts, mini golf and game viewing hides with lovely walk ways. Only 15minutes away from Crocodile Brigde Gate of the KNP, well worth a visit and stay. WE...

My brother in law left a bottle of liquor he purchased at Ngwenya and I would like to say a huge thank you to Bongani for assisting me in getting it returned. He provided excellent communication in letting me know that the bottle had been found and in assisting me with communication between myself and the gentleman who sells it...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Ngwenya Lodge is situated on the southern tip of the world-renowned Kruger National Park. This means that visitors don’t even have to leave the resort to see a huge variety of game species – including the famous Big Five. The river view chalets overlook a scenic floodplain, which allows for magnificent views of the area where the big cats often hunt. Our Dam and Bush view chalets are set back on the property and also have beautiful views, as they overlook tranquil dams or bush areas. Game viewing hides make game viewing on the riverfront accessible to all – so no one misses out on spotting any of their favorite wild animals. Holiday in the luxury you’re used to… The units have fully equipped kitchens with a stove, fridge, freezer and a microwave. Each unit has a television and an undercover veranda with patio table, chairs and a braai, for unforgettable get-togethers with family and friends. Ngwenya’s on-site facilities include a pub, a beauty salon with a wide range of treatments, a curio shop, a small convenience shop, 6 outdoor swimming pools, 18 hole Mini Golf course, 2 tennis courts, trampolines, jungle gyms, a games room with pool tables, table tennis, Playstations with Xbox Kinnect, a kiddies room with various board games, puzzles, and kids movies. We can’t wait for you to visit us. ... more   less
