Good hotel for a relaxing holiday 1. Good room cleaning, upon check-in a welcome gift - a bottle of wine and a plate of fruit, daily cleaning and replacement of towels, free water and chocolates 2. Own pool and beach, the entrance is a little rocky, go swimming in sneakers and no problems. It will be difficult barefoot) towel service and sun loungers with umbrellas from the hotel 3. Excellent breakfast, there is always something to choose from, I can’t name a single disadvantage of the morning buffet 4. Excellent parking - the service car is parked in the underground parking lot by hotel employees and driven out when necessary 5. The most friendly staff, they can speak both Russian and English, you can definitely agree There is a promenade on the embankment nearby, great for a walk before bed 6. We were somewhat distant from substitutional amenities. Such as economically priced restaurants, bars, even access to basic in person banking services. We are travelling from all over the world, it’s important to be a hotel that is engaged with the community it is situated in… provide shuttle services to bus stations, general shopping areas, banks. I found it disappointing the hotel only accepted credit cards and euros. When arriving from another country, in many cases… you have with you the currency of the country you departed from. I felt staff were not sensitive to this and to point us to a bank machine is not a way to make a customer feel welcome after a long journey. It is commonly known that bank machines are a good tool for banks, but horribly expensive to customers. Our room was pretty and clean. However, it needed some modernization as furniture and room colors were very dated. The property allows smoking so we smelt smoke often throughout the property. As well as cigarette ashes falling onto our terrace from rooms above us.
EVERYTHING for consumption in the room was chargeable. Understandable… but even the instant coffee????? The bar fridge was Packed with chargeable alcohol and other beverages. We had to empty the fridge to make room for our basic water bottles and soda.
The buffet was a beautiful presentation. However? The instant coffee machines did not provide quality coffee. The food quality was acceptable, but not necessarily over the top. Generally, staff avoided eye contact when possible in the buffet, main hotel desk, and throughout the hotel. Eventually the main desk they came around after we poked at them for conversation, and they all turned out to be lovely people. However, we cannot help but feel that this is the work culture naturally???
Would we stay again or recommend the hotel? Probably yes now that we are better informed after our experience.

The best thing about this place is the view it offers, is is located off the coast and the sunsets are absolutely stunning. I was also thoroughly impressed by the exceptional services provided. The spa facilities were great, offering different options for relaxing and melting away your stress. The food was very good too although on the high side in terms of price. This is a choice place to reside whenever in the Budva area. Just a point to note - no irons offered nor allowed in the rooms so make sure you plan for laundry services.

I was very sick and having contagious illness, i talk to hotel to cancel this trip but they rejected to make any refunds and ask me to come or cancel with paying all the penalty. I told them that the risk is not only for me but for all the other guests and their reply was asking me to stay at the room all the time and preferably not to use any facility. This was insane and not acceptable at all, I pre-paid all the room charges and extra food in advance and they even didnt accept to pay the food price back. They refer to a cancellation policy which is rare to see. Normally hotels charges you for the room rate for 1 night and return the rest but this hotel is not guest-friendly. I strongly have negative feeling about them and i strongly advise not to book in here. I also had other people traveled and they told me most other issues regarding the hotel. so its a definite stay-away one for me.

To clarify, you made your reservation on 18/07 for the period of 28/08 – 05/09. Our cancellation policy, which was communicated to you from the outset, clearly states that cancellations made up to 14 days prior to arrival are eligible for a full refund. Unfortunately, your cancellation request on 26/08, just two days before your scheduled arrival, fell outside the penalty-free period. As such, we were entitled to charge the full amount of the booking, in accordance with the terms you agreed to at the time of reservation. Despite this, which was omitted from your review, we refunded a significant portion of your payment as a gesture of goodwill, even though we were under no obligation to do so according to our policy. While we understand your disappointment, we must emphasize that threats of negative reviews made during your direct communication with our colleagues at the call center, which as we can see have now been carried out, do not alter the facts or the terms of the cancellation policy you accepted. My husband and I chose this 5 star hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Unfortunately our hotel room was located on the 9th floor, the floor below the casino. As such, throughout the evening we were kept awake by furniture being dragged across the floor above. We asked to move rooms the following day and were told due to them being fully booked this would not be possible. After 2 nights of little sleep we were moved rooms for our final night. No apology and no upgrade. Not what I expect from a 5 star hotel. In short, ask not to be on the 9th floor if you chose to stay here.

I long wondered if the star system is self appointed as the difference between hotels that claim to be 5 star varies so greatly. One also has to acknowledge that luxury is subjective and therefore even human reviews make it difficult to navigate. However here we go with my thoughts on our stay. The rooms are of a fine size. As a family of four I would say a snug fit. Bath and shower in bathrooms is a plus. The sofa is fine for one child, but two children was a challenge, so we had one stay in our bed. Which is a large 2 x 2. The room was clean, but not spotless and refurbishment is needed to bring it up to a more modern feel. If you pay for pool view then ask to be abive 2 nd floor to allow for a sea view. Our level one view was pool and people outside our balcony about a meter away. The pools are great, however here too the wear and tear is evident, with loose ladders and dirty tiles. The QR code system for drinks and food was efficient. We never struggled to find places to sit, however being a huge hotel the crowds can be overwhelming. There has been much excitement in reviews around the beach however we felt very underwhelmed. The sardine element of being shoulder to shoulder on grey pebbles/sand was not our idea of luxury. The food unfortunately was average but at 5 star prices. The buffet is big, but the quality of certain items is terrible. My never waste hubby, had to dispose of the prawns at first mushy defrosted bite. However we had some nice meats and fish from the bbq at the beach restaurant and the pizza was ok. Kids club was a favourite for the kids, lots of activities and both the 4 & 10 yo had fun. Service was always friendly, varying sometimes in skills. A peeve of ours was the very tacky cornering of water fountain for dinner with cardboard. It doesn’t scream even 3 star. We drink sparkling so would order regardless, but in this heat with mostly kids, it seems in bad taste. Just like paid for coffee in your room at 3 euros. Feels tacky. We personally would not come back and don’t see the value, however I think it’s not a bad hotel for a family, definitely would not recommend for couples.

This is considered to be the best hotel in Montenegro. It has got many things to do. It is really a good resort, but bare in mind that Budva is building constantly and that you will be woken up by heavy machinery in the morning.
Dinner is a bit on the pricey side but it is mediocre. Chef is preparing a meal outside on a wooden bbq. That is good start, but he really doesn't know how to prepare it. When I saw how is squeezing life with the spatula from file mignon I wanted to cancel my order. Afterwards it was dry and bland as expected. If you are young couple or you come here alone, you wouldn't mind these things. But if you come here with family to take a weekend of, I would consider this destination.

The hotel rooms are very poorly cleaned, the air conditioning does not work well. The only plus is that the hotel has its own beach on the first line. There are no places on the sun loungers, only empty towels, vacationers probably take up the seats overnight. The coffee machine in the room is dirty, and coffee costs 2 euros

This hotel deserves 5 stars. From the moment you arrive you will feel kind and wellcoming atmosphere. Rooms are big and very clean. Breakfast - high quality, high variety food. Only thing that I would change during breakfast is coffee and water station where trays should be provided for guests to carry items taken. Spa is great and very clean (it is being cleaned and sterilized all the time). COVID measures are in place and masks are provided for hotel guests. Small dogs are wellcome and this was really amazing and so nice. Furry family members get their own small bed, towel and food and water plates (so cute). Although hotel is pet friendly dogs are not allowed in Promenada restaurant inner part which I hope for the hotel to change this policy. Coffee making machine and capsules are provided in the room and cost about 1,60 € per capsule and in my opinon should be included in the price of the room (does not change price much and guests can enjoy in room coffee or tea on the terrace). Concierge service is excellent. Rent a car was provided within 10-15 minutes from our initial request. To sumarize, I highly recommend this hotel and I am sure that you will have holiday or short break (as we did) to remember.
