With my boyfriend, we did a road trip through Cornwall on the bank holiday of August and stayed at the Penryn Campus. It was the only accommodation we found available at such a short notice. We were very surprised as it was not expensive. It's just halls of residence. We booked a room with 2 single beds as it was...

Booked here on a last minute business trip to Cornwall. Only chose this 'hotel' as it was the only available at short notice. If it were just for the facilities and the rooms I would have scored much less. Although the helpful staff are really what makes this place. Ok...so I knew I was heading to a Uni campus to...

Place located an hour drive from most famous beauty spots of Cornwall. Our room had tv and kettle, room was dated but bedding was very clean, can't complain there at all. Staff friendly. 170+ for 2 nights not cheap though.. On arrival really hard to figure out where to park where is the reception, probably took us an hour to...

This is the university campus accommodation being used out of the education term as lodging. It is reasonable but let's not imagine it is cheap at £75/night. It isn't and as such it needs to be able to provide a decent amount of value for that. The wifi is pretty much none existent so do not rely on that. The...

Basic room with what you need for a short stay. Staff are so great and there is a cafe on campus selling yummy food! Gym, library and shop are just there and Penryn station is about ten minutes walk!!

Ok so we got what I expected - a budget room normally used by university students during term time A bit hit and miss on your "neighbors" - one hell of a loud night, but otherwise normally quite quiet Place is booked by loads of Orthodox Jews in the summer holidays - all very friendly - all dressed in traditional...

We were a party of ten of mixed ages and the accomodation suited all of us. I booked a flat for 4 people plus 3 additional double rooms. When we arrived we found that we had been allocated the flat in one block and the rooms in another, this wasn't suitable as we had kids under 16 who would have...

I had a basic en-suite room - towel but no soap or shampoo, double bed, and no TV. Free wi-fi but limited availability. Accommodation is arranged in flats as six rooms along with a shared and fairly well-equipped kitchen. Weekend parking free, but paid parking Monday to Friday. Small supermarket on site, and a café.

My girlfriend and I stayed for 2 nights in a premium room which featured en suite shower room. The staff at reception were helpful and friendly and the room was cleaned daily. At £180 for the 2 nights it was the cheapest accommodation we could find and to be honest I think it's worth that. HOWEVER people should realise that...
