Of the places in Batopilas where I asked, this was the cheapest. The staff was very helpful and kind. Comfortable balcony seats to look out at river. My room stunk though. Needs trap in sink I think. Peeling paint, worn, but I thought that was acceptable for the price and convenient location.

This is our hotel Juanitas. It is not the Hyatt, but it does have a river front view. It is located at the far end from the only river bridge in the narrow Centro that hugs the space between the river Batopilas and the canyon walls. The Zocalo is at the hotel front door. Small, central courtyard, very basic rooms,...

I enjoyed my three restful nights at Juanita's. I was on a motorcycle tour in April, 2014 when the road led us to the Hotel Juanita. Clean room with a perfectly functional bathroom. Secure moto parking in courtyard. Juanita even took care of our laundry. I will return to Batopilas and stay at Juanita's.

Stayed here in Jan 2012 as part of our Copper Canyon tour arranged through The California Native. For our trip down to the bottom of the canyon they had arranged for Samuel of the 3 Amigos tour company in Creel to escort and he did an excellent job. We are not Spanish speakers so unfortunately we could not communicate with...

The sound of the fountain in the court yard was very relaxing. and the river, the view of the sunrise priceless. I'll be back to stay longer. Her brother Gustavo was going to take me back to creel, everybody in that nice town...

We stayed 3 nights at Juanita's; her hotel is an extention of her home on the riverside with a nice garden with a fountain in the middle of it. Lonely Planet seems to have a quirk with the crucifices in the rooms, but it really is not much understanding that we are in Mexico. Juanita is very pleasant, helpful and...

Hotel Juanita's is a simple pleasure. The hotel itself is 8 to 10 rooms, located next to the Batopilas River at the bottom of the canyon. The owner is a wonderful lady who will make your stay very comfortable. Although the rooms are bit over decorated for my taste, they are clean and have private baths (a rare thing in...

Basic but comfortable accommodation in downtown Batopilas. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Lovely courtyard/garden with bouganvilla overlooking the river.
