The website for this resort and the brochure, which was on the coffee table, spoke of its Asian cuisine restaurant, pool and spa along with other on site activities available, while enjoying the amazing view. Aside from the view, which was amazing, everything else was underwhelming. The accommodation needs a major upgrade. The carpets could do with a with a...

Another guest had booked the 'loft' but their keys had on it Cabin 8...They were unable to get in. Several phone calls and text msgs were sent to the staff (?) but...

Beware the friendly dachshund as you drive into the property! :) Enormous warm croissants delivered to our door for breakfast was a welcome touch, especially consumed with complimentary plunger coffee in the room. Kitchen stocked with all the basics, incl microwave, electric frypan & oven - albeit rather dated - but all perfectly functional. Lovely sunset views from the balcony....

Cabins are a bit rough around the edges. Cabin is clean and the bed is lovely and comfortable. Great view from our balcony. The cabins are located on 26 acres of land and it is very quiet. The owners are lovely. Rexi

Quiet, secluded location with lovely view over the mountains. The cottage has a retro and country charmf to its interior and is quite clean and comfortable. Great value for $210 per night for 1 bedroom self contained cottage with cooking facilities and TV. The host is very friendly and offers freshly baked croissants for $12 at breakfast. The cottage is...

We stayed here for a wedding we attended, then by chance a Day on the Green concert was announced, so we attended that as well. It had been 20 years since we have been to the Hunter Valley, so I didnt know the area at all. This was the best value accommodation I could find, close to the wedding venue,...

40 expats living in Sydney stayed at the retreat for 'Christmas in July'. Needless to say we were probably nightmare guests (very loud considering the owners live on site). Despite this Helen and her husband were extremely accommodating and made a great brekky each morning with a smile. The cabins have everything you would need for a weekend away, they're...

We woke to amazing sunrises, sounds of birds chirping, cows and roosters. Stunning sunsets overlooking the Brokenback Ranges. Staff are friendly and make an awesome breakfast every morning. We had a beautiful relaxing stay. Close to wineries and set in beautiful bush land.

Host Helen makes this place what it is, she makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive, cooks an excellent breakfast and can assist with heaps of information. The room is spacious and the beds are good, but the place looks like it can use an update. The views from the veranda are beautiful and the place it really...
