First of all, the old Carrier air conditioner didn't work and the saw three toilet hadn't been flushed and the hand towel had been used. When i rang the receptionist, she said she found that very strange. She told me they are in the midst of changing the old aircon to a new one!
She said that's why there is a small oil heater in the bedroom. Well you had to sit on the oil heater to feel any heat.
The electric blanket only work on one side of the bed. There was only half an inch of hands soap in the container and one towel was really frayed.
It's very dated, there was a light at the front door but it didnt work, had to use my phone torch as the ground was uneven getting to the door. There was no one on site when we got there. If you are looking for a resort, this is definitely not the place!!!

Poor value for money - I paid nearly $800 for 2 nights for my partner and parents to stay in a 2 bed 'villa' for 2 nights. The villas are more like cabins and have no privacy at all - the walls separating the rooms don't even go all the way to the ceiling. It feels like one big dorm room! The kitchen wasn't very well equipped and the outdoor communal bbqs were disgusting. I nearly booked the crowne plaza down the road (same price) but thought the villas looked quaint and liked the thought of cooking our own food. Wish I had!

My husband and I stayed here 2 years ago and loved it so this year decided to return with our friends and babies. However we were disappointed- our fond memories were dashed by our run-down cabin, defective bbq, the yellow tank water and filthy pool. Don't get me wrong, the location is great and the owners are very knowledgable and hospitable but we just really felt like the place needs an upgrade.
Also don't recommend the two bed cabins for sharing as there is little/virtually no wall between the bedrooms and between the lounge and bedrooms such that our babies kept waking each other and we had to whisper in the dark in the evenings to avoid disturbing them!
For not much more you can stay at nicer places.

Overall this was a great location for camping and visiting wineries nearby.

The staff were really friendly and helpful the entire time - from giving us local tips for wineries and shops, to helping with transport. Special thanks to Tony for jumpstarting our van!

We used the communal facilities which were kept clean, with complimentary shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. We were even able to have a drink on the sunloungers and keep our wine cool in the staff fridge!

The place is under new ownership and there were clearly some discreet renovations and improvements going on but that didnt bother us at all.

Would definitely stay here again, look forward to seeing what they end up doing with the place as its a lovely spot with beautiful views and potential.

Positives - great view, location, fairly new air con so efficient, good showerhead and ok bed.
Unfortunately, it is dated and needs a lot of TLC. Can't believe we paid $360 for two nights. Just look at the photos I took. They speak for themselves.
On the website, it mentions a restaurant but it looks like it has not been functioning for a long time.
In our "chalet", there were things in the fridge and freezer from previous guests, cobwebs galore in the room and the lounge was stained and squeaky. We put a blanket on the lounge so we could sit on it.
Kitchen and bathroom were made to look like it had a row of feature tiles but it was a "stick on" feature that was peeling off.
I don't know what constitutes a "resort" but this is not a "resort" that you want to stay at.
This place should be shut down until repairs and a deep clean has been done.
My purpose in writing this review is not to shame but to warn others not to spend the money. Stay somewhere else. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place and I will never go back. I will look for other accommodation in the vineyards.

It was so disgusting, outdated and shoddy that you had to laugh really. I've stayed at posher school camps! Avoid this place at all costs! My personal favourite was the request not to dirty their linen with make up! See pics! The linen was threadbare! Our friends didn't fare much better in their loft room with nothing separating their bed from the toilet and shower - NOTHING! God only knows how they are still in operation! Pitch a tent if this is your last option, you will feel cleaner and safer!! 🤣

Possibly abandoned since the 1960s. When we arrived a tumbleweed blew past. Visible DNA on the couch, no blue light needed. Took turns with the coffee cup while looking at the deck we couldn’t get to. Didn’t catch bedbugs but pretty sure we heard a zombie in the “Pamper House”. If you’re easily spooked, best to avoid. Send help.

It's rundown, neglected and dirty. There is an obvious couldn't care less attitude. We asked to have our shower cleaned while we were out at a wedding as it had obviously not been done due to the fact there was an opened left over gel/shampoo still in soap holder and a very dirty looking shower curtain. They removed the gel container and that was all. Needless to say we didn't shower there. There was a drink bottle on the floor in the living room - fairly obvious that room hadn't been cleaned. And one of the beds had bugs all over it. Fridge hadn't been cleaned either. You really felt like not touching anything. The neglect is obvious when you drive in too. There is a very unsightly mess around. I would recommend that you never stay here!

No manager or staff on site. Rubbish everywhere. No shower pressure. No good at all. The photos on the website do not reflect reality. We couldn't wait to escape! Save yourself the money and stay in a hostel.
