The room was round the garden and as I was finding out in Mexico often very dark. However it had a very pleasant warm pool nearly a jacuzzi Here as a couple, unlike the the Mirador, a place was laid up for us. The food was hot again the quality cannot be shouted about, but it was ok. You did... More

Nice three star hotel, with a good staff and great side trips. Rooms are rustic. Just do not understand why the price of food and drinks is WAY above any other prices of a comparable (or better) hotel. If you want wine, its the one produced at their winery at a high price, beer- more than double, cokes- almost triple!... More

This is a real gem with an authentic, old Mexico feel and all the comforts of home. The rooms have comfortable beds covered by down comforters wrapped in white duvets. There is a wood stove in the room, with firewood already laid, for chilly mountain evenings. The hotel also offers a pool that was must be heated because it was... More

This hotel is very beautiful, it is really cozy and is like arriving to a relative's house after a long walk. It has amenities like a pool table and a TV room. The food is delicious and you share table with other guests so you get to know more people.

This hotel may not look like the usual 'luxury' hotel but it is so much more. The staff-friendly,professional. The rooms - full of character and cosy. The outside garden area is lovely to sit outside in. There's a common lounge area with pool table, board games and a TV, I think there's also a small swimming pool here. Had a... More

This quaint little place is very cozy and welcoming, especially on cold days after a long day of traveling and/or sightseeing. The rooms are very nice, and plenty of blankets are provided. There is no centralized heating, so one has to use the fireplace and know how to throw wood longs into the chamber. I personally had to haul wood... More

Welcomed with big smiles in a gorgeous entry with a hugh fire place. Food was delicious and so was the Red wine (grown in their own winery). We had a wine tour with one other couple. We set out on foot around the little town starting at a girls boarding school, so cute the girls are and the youngest boarders... More

My husband and I visited in mid-March in route to las barrancas del cobre, as part of a group of 38 on a Mex-Eco tour. This is a charming historic property with its own vineyard. The vino tinto Mision that it produces is really quite good and affordable. Our room was rustic but attractive with all the necessary amenities (including... More

This would be a great place to explore a few days. Beautiful architecture, a fireplace in your room complete with someone to light it for you, game room separate, great food and fun bar area. Service was wonderful, there is a winery onsite.

next time I will stay longer, great retreat, charming set up, good food and service. I drove there from Copper canyon, it was hard to find , even with a map and asking directions. Most guests were part of a guided tour which might be a better bet than going it alone.
