Location could not be better, in a lovely square of old honey coloured stone buildings with trees (yes there is traffic but not much and people drive slowly around Ciudad Rodrigo), it's a 2 minute walk to the Cathedral. The building is old, it's seen better days inside and could do with a facelift but it is cheap and friendly....

There were good and bad points to this hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, good central location. Breakfast not bad although a bit limited. Very few of the staff spoke any English. We attempted to eat in the restaurant one evening. Were led into a dark room and the lights were switched on but the waitress clearly did not...

Ok for an o'night stop. Hotel quoted secure parking available for motorcycles, in fact none was available. Good WiFi and small bar at reception made a fair G&T otherwise unremarkable. Main bar closed and restaurant seemed dark and uninviting so neither were used.

Hotel is in a historic building and the rooms reflect an oldy worldy style. The bar downstairs is restyled in a modern way. Breakfast was not included. I don't think they serve breakfast at all. Service was OK, but a trifle passive.

My wife and I stopped here one night during our tour of Spain. Despite the building oozing history and character, the room is nothing special with a bed, bathroom and a lockable door. The location is very central and we enjoyed our walks to the Plaza Major and along the walls.

We spent only one night at this pleasant, hospitable and well located hotel. Our room was not large but was well equipped and had good storage space and a small balcony looking out on the square below . We parked outside the city walls at the market about 5 minutes away and carried our bags to the hotel. The man at...

Perfect location for sightseeing this wonderful historical town. Secure parking but a short distance from the Hotel, and be aware it's underground and tight!! Staff were helpful. We had a room with balcony, although not very large.

This is a hospitable and very enjoyable hotel. Returning after several years for a second stay,we found the hotel to be as good as we recalled and in some ways, even better. Set in a beautiful historic building on a pretty square, just down the street from the Cathedral, the hotel is well situated. It is easy to walk to the...
