Was here for a week on a project. AC controls are a challenge but the remote control let me adjust it as needed during the night. They did have internet access hotpoint on 2nd level by a cafe. You can access for only 1.5 CUC's per hour with a card from the front desk. Use that with the WhatsApp on...

We had a suite which I would recommend as we had a queen bed and a much nicer air conditioning the those that did not have suits. The room was clean but water did not work all the time and key cards seemed to stop working often. The suite was not very secure as there was a small door in...

We traveled with a group of 15 and spent a week here in July, 2016. This is the best hotel in the area, but has a lot of limitations and problems. Upon arrival the elevator did not work, so bags had to carried upstairs to the third floor for some. The rooms are large with either 2 single or 2...

This hotel is probably the worst we stayed at during our time in Cuba. Very old facilities, rooms are not up to standards, service very slow and the staff did not seem to care about you at all. We stayed here for two nights and I don't think we will ever come back.

We were please by the possibiolity to pay with your CC, price being some 43 CUC breakfast and dinner included. The hotel...

The hotel is so old, however, the people that work there tried hard to keep it going. I stayed here for one night as some of my friends insisted to visit this place. For overnight stay they charge 21 CUC single occupancy, breakfast included. The air conditioner works overnight, you can't hang the shower head. They provide a lot of...

Just a complete waste of time. Service is so bad. Rooms are dirty and I wished I stayed at a rental house. Very slow paced staff and it got annoying. Pool was only highlight but even that was not great

On my recent trip, I decided to try the Hotel Las Tunas. I have had good results with other Islazul hotels and I figured that this one might provide welcome facilities not available in a casa particular, especially in view that Las Tunas a small place. This hotel has a good location, on top of a hill just outside the...

Typical Islazul Cuban hotel - modern, Soviet block on outskirts of town, basically comfortable with the amenities you need and cheap at 25CUC singles. Decent sized pool, if a bit on the mucky side, slow internet available and iffy breakfast - checking in is the usual ponderous process.
