What a wonderful place located in the historical area of Corato. Old houses totally refurbished in the interior. Excellent people and very helpful. Will never forget one of our best days in Italy. South Italy, the unknown beautiful treasure of the country.

Location, location, location PLUS PARKING. On my ninth visit to my Ancestral hometown of Corato we opted to stay at La Dimora and were well pleased that we did. Besides being in a painstakingly restored historic building we were minutes away from the newly restored historic center of this small town that is said to have been around for over...

We have stayed at 5* hotels that did not match the friendly endearing service we received. Ther owners Tony and Karla make you feel right at home. From pickup and drop off from the train station to the airport, to thoughtful ideas and suggestions as to where to go and what to visit. The room was large, clean and a...

La Dimora was a perfectly reasonable place to stay the night after arriving in Bari and setting out for Castel del Monte in the morning. It was quite tricky to find using our satnav and we had to resort to old-fashioned walking and questioning to locate it. There are a few parking spaces outside, which was convenient. The rooms were...

Stayed one night on a m/cycle tour. It's very central, with many bars and restaurants around. Tricky to find by auto though, a door in a small side street in a 1-way system. Parking is limited. Reception is a manned cupboard in the stairwell, and was fairly helpful. It's in a noisy area but the little side-street was quiet. Our...

Lovely and great location right in the Centre of the town. We travel in a group of seven people and Tony and his staff were really great they provided an excellent service. We stayed in Corato for seven days and we felt like being home. Clean rooms. I would definitely come back.

I was incredibly impressed by how truly special the staff made me feel. Very professional and very caring, attentive and responsive. Room was clean and comfortable, a relaxing atmosphere. Morning cappuccino and croissants were lovely. A hotel that feels like home away home. Many thanks to Carla and Antonio Altamura, their friends and co-workers for making my stay so enjoyable.
