Spent three wonderful nights at the Villa Le Maschere in tuscany. You are located about 20 -30 kilometers northeast of Florence. The grounds and hotel are wonderful. You need a car to find the villa and enjoy the Tuscany sights. Concierge was extremely helpful assisting in train travel into Florence. Just park your car at the local town train station...

Magnificent. The place leaves you stunned...the architecture, history, setting and care is superb. Morning: Breakfast in a stunning garden style dining room...attentive staff, great selection of food. Afterwards: Wander aroudn the 18 acres of beautiful tended gardens, and woods with beautiful views. Sit in the exquisite lobby and marvel....drive to Florence for lunch and return in the evening feeling like...

This hotel is just beautiful. It was originaly a 500 year old villa but the original owners walked away during WW1 after they lost everything. The family still live nearby. The hotel is very new and the original decor has been preserved and added to. it is a 5star hotel and deserves the rating.I stayed here for 3 night on a...

My husband and I spent a few nights at this gorgeous villa. Beautiful, very clean, gorgeous views and wonderful staff. It was spotless! The spa is still under construction and from what I can see it will be beautiful once completed. There is a gorgeous pool with very comfortable sun chairs...though it filled up quickly. Service was good in that...

I have just returned from Italy where I spent sometime at this wonderful hotel with my husband, the facade is impressive and from the minute you enter the foyer you know you will not be disapointed. It has taken 6 years for the stunning renovation work to be carried out on the villa and looking around you get some idea...

Stayed for three nights here and it was magical. The room rate was seriously discounted and we ended up paying about 100 euros for a standard room. I can't imagine it will stay this cheap. The standout for me was the decor. Some serious money has been ploughed into this place. Every nook is filled with the most amazing furniture...

I found this hotel on short notice when my husband and I had an opportunity to spend time in Italy. We had never been to Florence and this looked like a perfect place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel is beautiful and our room was perfect. The grounds are in transition, as the hotel is really...
