We spent 7 days in Blue Monkey but we wish they would have never ended. The cottages are nice and cozy, they're just three steps far from the sea and surrounded by a flourishing nature. Once there, you can swim in the coral gardens, enjoy a walk in the narrow streets of the nearby village, experience the best local food... More

I traveled to Wasini Island with my daughter (9 years old) in mid August and we stayed 7 days at Blue Monkey Beach Cottage. We had a great experience and totally liked the combination of simplicity (with style), respect towards the surrounding nature and environment (thumbs up for the eco-friendly solutions adopted) and the super tasty-always-fresh food. My daughter defines... More

Very basic accommodation but nice outlook and great spot for a trip out to the marine park. Owners very nice and really helpful, we had a great trip to the reef and the stay was very relaxing. Just take your own alcohol as none on island and check you like the menu or take supplies. The owner was happy to... More

My teenager son and I wanted to experience something different from the usual Diani beach resorts. And we were not disappointed! The hosts, both Amina and Feisal made us feel very welcomed. The cottages are a few meters away from the private beach on top of the rocks. A wonderful place at high tide and we spend hours swimming there.... More

This cottage being located on the shore of Wasini island, has a particularly relaxing vibe. I loved my stay there as we were out of the world we usually know, the cottage offers a private beach on top of the rocks and mangrove, with a private jetty where berths the owner's Dhow boat.. Being an eco lodge, the cottage only... More

My wife and I spent 4 nights at the Blue Monkey cottages and had an amazing, relaxing stay. We did not know much about the island and the cottages beforehand, but they corresponded exactly to our hopes. The place is a little oasis. Surrounded by greenery. And yet beachfront. You get to listen to the waves as well as appreciate the quiet sound of nature all around you. We loved the food as well. But you do get very close to nature and that was special... Butterflies all around. The coral gardens are 5 minutes away and... More
