The Thai Tawan Apartments in the historic ambience of Rheinhausen's old town hall offer everything you need for a pleasant stay in the Europa-Park holiday region. Our vacation homes are equipped for 5 to 7 people. In addition, we offer you a double room and a triple room. Free parking and Wi-Fi is available for you. Our adjacent Thai restaurant and the apartments are completed by an extensive terrace at the edge of the old town hall square where you can play boule and relax among chestnuts. To the Europa-Park Rust it takes just a 5 min. Drive. The nearby Black Forest, the Alsace and the Kaiserstuhl can be reached in 15 to 20 minutes.
Repeat visit for our family group of seven from age 12 to 71 and again everybody loved the food, service was warm and friendly, nobody minded that we had some waiting times due to the restaurant and terrace being very busy. Prices are very reasonable, e.g. a big portion of Pad Thai with a huge serving of crispy duck is € 12,70, mixed starter platter with spring rolls, fish cakes, vegetable and shrimp tempura is € 7,20, Garri Gai (yellow curry) €12,70, green curry with chicken €12,70 and Kaeng Phed (red curry with crispy duck, again a sizeable portion) is €16. Already looking forward to the next visit!

Stayed here with my 2 teenage kids whilst visiting Europa Park.
The 2 bed loft apartment could easily cope with another child & an adult. Room enough for 4 adults & 2 kids or 2 adults & 4 kids.
Excellent facilities and at around $100euros per night very good value.
Only downside being the smell of the Thai restaurant downstairs but nothing the nostrils don't get used to and could be far worse for sure.
Clean & large so all-round an excellent choice for Europa park travellers as just a 4 minute drive up the road.
Only 4 stars due to Thai restaurant smell & 2 flights of stairs to the apartment.

Very nice owner. Close to Europa park. Coffee included in the room, always a plus :) Nice quiet room (until 6am), large bathroom.
Very limited english. Church bells go off every hour from 6am onwards which was a little too early for us who really needed every minute of our sleep. Good wifi although it kept booting me out to ask for the password way too often (?).

It is very bad hotel as below 1- The bed was not comfortable. 2-The sounds of the church bell were annoying. 3-Bad smell in the stairs issued from the restaurant.
*Very bad stay and do not recommend it

Thai Tawan is located 5 Minutes from Europa Park in a quaint town of Rheinhausen. We booked a two Bed room guest room and it was exceptional. Only downside was that there is no elevator to climb the 2nd floor and if you are travelling with family and luggage its will be a good exercise!!
Rooms had all the required facilities such as Small Kitchenette, Small and separate Living Space.
Supermarket was 2 minutes away. All in all a wonderful package.

I have stayed there for 1 night when going to Europa-park. The place is nice, 4 minutes by car from Europa-Park. Room for 3 people was simple, but newly equiped, clean with a big bathroom. All 3 beds were big enough for an adult and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly. We slept really well there.

Very nice place. It is very close to park. Just 5 min drive. The room was very big and a nice kitchen. They have some supermarket around. The stuff is very nice. They let us use their privte washing machine. It about 30 min drive from freiburg and all the other places to see in the black forest.

I stopped here on my way to Europa Park. This is conveniently located in a small town adjacent to the park. The owner was quite friendly and accommodating. The only complaint was that the wifi barely (or not at all) works on the top floor of the hotel.

What a wonderful experience, the owners run a Thai restaurant. we arrived around 20.00 and the owner was so friendly, Apartments are to the side of the restaurant and its all very modern and German.
We had an awesome meal and the apartment was perfect (we had stopped here the nigh before Europapark)
I just cant fault it especially if your objective is to go to the park the next day, its like 4KM away.
I highly recommend this hotel

We've stayed at one of the apartments for five nights. Very nice, large, clean and well equipted apartment. Good location to Europa park and visiting Alsas. The owners freindly and welcoming. The restaurant downstaires is very good. We enjoied our stay there during August 2014.
