After looking at a number of places in the Midlands for our Wedding, we settled on this place as we had stayed before and its location and imposing appearance really sets the occasion. We had the turret suite which was perfect in size for our party and with a bar at the rear was an ideal place both for the...

A recently modernised property with all fixtures and fittings in pristine condition. Although the room was not huge, it was more than adequate and the bed comfortable. I had the impression that there was still work to do to bring it to the level I feel it could reach (eg there was no towel rail or anywhere to place toiletries...

Stayed in the castle hotel on 16th April 2017 for 1 night with my mum, the hotel staff are truly astounding in accommodating you. The manager gave us a tour round the rooms and a good insight into the history of the castle. Every last aspect of the room was finished to a high quality (the fluffy towels are to...

We stayed here at the end of March for a friend's wedding the wedding was not in the castle. I absolutely love this place , amazing. Beautiful and historic with so much attention to detail. Our room had a fabulous view and the biggest most comfortable bed ever!. Breakfast was really good too, plenty of choice. My only grumble is...

The only thing I would say was there was no ambience, dimmed lights but the tables were literally bare, no menu or candles lit no small flower in vase nothing. We...

Thank you for your very constructive feed back. It is early days but I can assure you we will get there. Unfortunately we have more than the bar on our minds so it is small steps at present but rest assured.

Two nights at end of a weekend. Booked by phone as online it appeared full. To their credit they honored a deal I saw online after we had checked in. Furthermore, the staff were not aware of it! Saved us £90. Always pays to check. Friendly, helpful staff who were really interested in our care. Pleasant room, good TV and...

Stayed here for a party and was very pleased with our room. It was on the top floor number 44 and had a great sea view and was very modern with a lovely bathroom, and the mirror with multi coloured lights kept my son entertained for a while.
