It looks OK when you arrive, with a big and clean pool in the middle of the "resort". The bamboo-room we got was big, with a big bed and a cold, yet well working shower. But right in front of the door, as we entered, plain sight, there was some garbage that the previous guest had left. The matress is... More

Arrived sunset time, place looked ok from outside. After i goyt the key of my room, i realised how dirty was the room, still old cigarettes on the floor, apparently they made the bed but nothing else. especially the bathroom, shower was very dirty. Smell of the water was so bad that i prefered no shower. Bed was hawfull, three... More

Would highly recommend to any budget traveller/backpacker, for 600P it was great and better then we expected. A breezy room so the fan is plenty to keep cold- had to turn it off in the night. Pool is nice and clean, away from the noise, easy to rent motorcycles through the staff as well as organise tricycles etc. Our 600P... More

This place probably has the cheapest room rate on the island without being anywhere near "cheap". For the fan rooms its only 600 pesos/night and the owner will even give you a discount if you stay longer. And there is a large swimming pool which is unusual for a budget place. There is a outside kitchen for the guests to... More

we stayed for three nights in a fan room. The room was fairly average and the service wasn't good. The resort wasn't close to the beach and for the price you could definitely stay closer to Alona beach. Moped hire was 400pesos a day. The pool was okay. Receptionist was friendly but speaks very limited English so impossible to get... More

The place is too far from the beach and the place is far from everything else. Stayed in the a/c room for Php800 but could get a better deal at some places at the beach. The place is cheaper alright but fare to and fro the beach and the place will kill you anyway. There isn't much noise as it's... More

We arrived here having thought we had friends staying here but they weren't, so as we arrived after dark we decided to stay the night. The room was fine, but was slatted wooden floor so you can see down to the ground beneath the hut, meaning bugs can get in and as the room was just a fan room it... More

Location is a twenty min walk from Alona, but within 30 seconds of leaving the place a tricycle or motorbike will offer you a lift for between 20 and 40 pesos. Nice to get away from the hastle of Alona. Also a nice Korean restaurant with a cheap bar and great pool two minutes away The resort itself is pretty... More

Really enjoyed our relaxing holiday at Mabuhay Breeze. Had a cute air con cottage steps from the pool. The kitchen was available for us to make our breakfasts and the owner was able to help us with tours and bike rentals, and ordering in pizzas etc. Enjoyed evening get togethers with other guests.. Easy to get to the beach with... More

This guesthouse is a great value. for only 600 pesos you get a fan bungalow, and it has a pool. The problem is that it is far from everything. the beach is easily 30 mins walk away, and there are no restaurants nearby. Unless you rent a motorcycle you will have problems getting around. BE CAREFUL of booking tours through... More
